The Bride in Waiting and the Two Witnesses
The Bride in Waiting
and the Two Witnesses
As things in this world are cranking up to the FEAR-FACTOR level with war and rumors of war. It is a substance of peace and a constant expectation of HOPE to dwell upon that great and marvelous day when our Messiah returns for His bride the second time. May each of us be counted worthy. May we all be clothed in wedding garments. May we each awaken when the call goes out, “Behold the Bridegroom Comes, Go out to meet Him!” May our lamps be filled with oil, trimmed, and burning bright. And finally, may we know when to enter through the door before it is forever closed. May this be our perpetual prayer.
We will open this most momentous subject with an introduction from the “Teacher,” as recorded by Jonathan Cahn.
The Bride in Waiting
“Behold the CALAH,” said the teacher, as he drew my attention to a young woman in the tent village. “It’s how you say ‘the bride’ in Hebrew. Do you remember when the bridegroom made his visit? It was for her, His beloved.”
“And yet she’s still here,” I said. “She’s the bride but not yet married.”
“In the Hebrew wedding, the bridegroom journeys to the house of the bride. There in that house, or tent, the covenant is made. They are from that moment on considered bride and groom, husband and wife. But the bridegroom must then leave the bride and her house and journey back to where he came from. The two are joined in the covenant of marriage. But they don’t see each other until the day of the wedding. They spend their time preparing for that day.”
“But for the bride, it seems as if nothing’s changed. She still lives with her family in that tent. She’s still doing her daily chores. Her surroundings are the same. Her life is the same. She’s married, but what’s changed?”
“She’s changed,” he said. “She is now the calah (the bride)!”
“I don’t understand.”
“Two thousand years ago the Bridegoom journeyed to the house of the bride. Our Messiah journeyed to this world, to our house, into our lives. And, likewise, the purpose was to make a covenant.
According to the mystery, the bridegroom must leave the bride’s house and return home. So Messiah then left this world to return to His heavenly home. So these now are the days of the separation. The Groom is in His house, in heaven. And we, as the bride, are in our house, this world. And if you’ve said “YES” to the Bridegroom’s covenant, you are as she is. You’re still in the same tent, this present world … waiting. Things around you may look the same and feel the same. Your life, your circumstances may look unchanged. But something very big has changed…you. It is not the tent that has changed, or your world, but you.
And so you are no longer of the world. You’re in the world, but no longer of it. You no longer belong to your circumstances, nor to your past, nor to your sins and limitation. No longer are you bound to these things. You don’t belong to the world. You belong to the Bridegroom!
You’re free from this world, because you’re the beloved and chosen calah (the bride) of YAHUSHA haMashiach!” “Book of Mysteries,” The Bride in the Tent, by Jonathan Cahn, pg. 93
Who is the Bride?
It is still true that two thousand years ago, the long promised Messiah, by His Hebrew name, YAHUSHA haMashiach, made His way to earth, the house of His Bride. While here, He displayed His eternal love for His beloved in that He laid down His life for her on Passover, the 14th day counted from His original and authentic full New Moon.
All are invited to enter into the covenant as the adored and beloved bride. But alas, only a handful, 144,000, will say “YES” to His covenant agreement, be SEALED, and then spend their time set apart as the Bride in waiting, preparing themselves for that great day. Revelation 7:1-4. Nonetheless, Revelation 7:9-10 identifies an additional “great multitude” who are saved, that evidently come to a knowledge of the truth in the last moments before judgment and/or include the many deceased generations who had died in the blessed hope. Either way, many from all corners of the earth will be saved on that great day. No further details are given as to who makes up the great multitude. But no one will be His Bride who does not join themselves to the Marriage Covenant of the Bridegroom through humble confession of sin, and receive pardon, then accept YAHUSHA, the anointed Messiah’s sacrifice, as their replacement.
The Bridal Covenant
So what is His covenant agreement? While the promise of Salvation, the restoration of sinful mankind is recorded from Genesis to Revelation, it is summed up in both YeshaYAHU (Isaiah) and Revelation as two succinct witnesses testifying to the sacred standard of the covenant that will NEVER be abolished until all things are restored.
“To the TORAH LAW and to the TESTIMONY [prophetic time-centric Feast Day assemblies celebrating the Messiah’s work unto salvation], if they do not speak according to this word, it is because there is no light [truth] in them.” YeshaYAHU (Isaiah) 8:20
“Here is the PEACE of the RIGHTEOUS (zadok), here are they who keep the TORAH LAW and have the TESTIMONY of YAHUSHA haMashiach [prophetic time-centric Feast Day assemblies of the Messiah’s work unto salvation].” Revelation 14:12
Notice in each example from the Old and New Testaments that two criteria consistently complete the covenant standard…1) the Torah Law and 2) the Testimony of faith [total reliance] in the Messiah. In the Torah (O.T.), the PROMISE of the coming Messiah was given, and His prophetic Testimony was born out in the Sanctuary/Temple ceremonial Feast Day rehearsal services. These outlined in advance the promised Messiah’s ministerial work of Salvation for mankind in detail on a lunar time-centric sequence from spring to fall each year. Through the temple services, the BLUEPRINT and RECIPE YAHUAH has chosen for mankind to be restored is made known. There is no other way.
In the Brit Hadasha (N.T.), this very same Covenant Testimony BEGINS TO BE FULFILLED, a day for a day, in the life and death of the long-promised Messiah. He came to accomplish the FEAST DAY RECIPE OF SALVATION in time-centric order as presented in the Torah Law of the O.T Sanctuary/Temple ceremonial rehearsal service. This RECIPE OF SALVATION will not be completed until all things are RESTORED at the end of the 1,000 years in heaven. So, while the swap was made, His life in place of ours, the remainder of the process, is yet to be completed. But from start to the end, it will all align according to the LUNAR TIME & EVENT BLUEPRINT. To alter any of them in any way by replacing either the prophetic TIME or EVENT elements will render the process illegitimate and will not bring the desired outcome.
In modern translations of Scripture, the term “Torah” (Law) has been removed (apparently by the Romans) and has been replaced by the term “law” or “commandments.” While this is still correct, it is a dumbing down of truth and hiding the facts that this is one half of the Bridal Covenant unto salvation. These alterations have led whole church denominations to believe that we are only to keep the Ten Commandments, allowing them to disregard the binding claims of the first five books recorded by Moses, called the Torah Law with its sacred calendar and lunar appointed times. By eliminating the Torah Law, they have eliminated the BLUEPRINT OF SALVATION, THE RECIPE of forgiveness and restoration through the PROMISE of the anointed MESSIAH who would take our place as the one-time atonement of sin. Stunningly, “commandments” means more than just the Ten Commandments but all the ones you have heard from the beginning.
The Commandments You Have Heard from the Beginning
Strikingly, the New Testament verse from the 2 Yochanan (John) 1:6 identifies the COMMANDMENTS in question as “the ones we have heard from the beginning to WALK IN.” Astonishingly, this includes much more than just the Ten Commandments.
“And this is love that we walk after HIS COMMANDMENTS. This is the COMMANDMENT THAT YOU HAVE HEARD FROM THE BEGINNING THAT YOU SHOULD WALK IN IT.” 2 YAHchanan (John) 1:6
So what are the COMMANDMENTS we have heard from the beginning that we should walk in them?
“But as for you, stand here by me, and I will speak unto thee all the 1) commandments, and 2) the statutes, and 3) the judgments, which thou shalt teach them, that they may do them in the land which I give them to possess it. You shall observe to do therefore as Yahuah your Alahim/Elohim has commanded you: You shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left. You shall walk in all the ways which Yahuah your Alahim/Elohim has commanded you, that you may live, and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.” Devarim (Deut.) 5:31-33
“In that I command you this day to love Yahuah your Alahim/Elohim, to walk in His ways, and to keep 1) His commandments and 2) His statutes and 3) His judgments, that you may live and multiply: and Yahuah your Alahim/Elohim shall bless you in the land whither you go to possess it.” Devarim (Deut.) 30:16
“And keep the charge of Yahuah your Alahim/Elohim, to walk in His ways, to keep 1) His statutes, and 2) His commandments, and 3) His judgments, and 4) His testimonies, as it is written in the TORAH LAW of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do, and whithersoever you turn yourself.” 1 Malachim (1 Kings) 2:3
“And it shall be, if you will hearken unto all that I command you, and will walk in My ways, and do that is right in My sight, to keep 1) my statutes and 2) my commandments, as David my servant did; that I will be with you, and build you a sure house, as I built for David, and will give Israel unto you.” 1 Malachim (1 Kings) 11:38
“But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your Alahim/Elohim, and you shall be my people: and walk you in ALL THE WAYS that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you.” YirmiYAHU (Jeremiah) 7:23
Here at the very end of time, the same scenario is presented. We find His covenant is complete only as the full list of commandments we heard from the beginning includes 1) His statutes, 2) His commandments, 3) His judgments, and 4) His testimonies. This full set of four from the umbrella of the Torah Law will be present in those who receive the SEAL OF YAHUAH as defined in Revelation 14:12.
“Here is the
patience of the saints[PEACE OF THE RIGHTEOUS]; here are those who keep thecommandments of God[TORAH LAW OF YAHUAH ALAHIM] and have thefaith of Jesus[TESTIMONY OF YAHUSHA HAMASHIACH].” Revelation 14:12
Passover, the Sign, and Seal of YAHUAH
Stunningly, the common denominator for both verses in Isaiah 8:20 and Revelation 14:12 is the MESSIAH, as well as His FEAST DAY RECIPE OF SALVATION. But even more specifically, PASSOVER marks the TIME & EVENT that SEALS our BLESSED HOPE. So is Passover possibly the authentic SEAL OF YAHUAH Alahim and the covering to protect His elect from receiving the Mark of the Beast? What does Scripture have to say about Passover?
“It [PASSOVER] shall be as a SIGN to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes [forehead] that YAHUAH’S TORAH LAW may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand YAHUAH has brought you out of Egypt [the New World Order, with its Mark of the Beast]. You shall, therefore, keep this ordinance [PASSOVER] in its
season(#4150 mo’edah – lunar appointed time (Psalm 104:19) from year to year.” Shemot (Exodus) 13:9-10
Finding and keeping Kadosh (holy, sacred, undefiled), the authentic Passover Feast Day of Scripture identifies the faithful and obedient followers of Yahuah Alahim. These alone are, in every respect, honoring the Covenant of the Bridegroom. Getting it right requires physical action signaled by the “hand” and a mental decision as described by a remembrance or “memorial between the eyes.”
Profoundly, PASSOVER was ordained by the MOST HIGH YAHUAH Alahim to be the SIGN AND SEAL of His obedient and faithful followers throughout history. Stunningly, Passover occurs upon a fixed lunar day each year, counted 14 days from the first full moon in spring that arises at/nearest the feet of the constellation Bethulah (Virgo).
In locating the authentic Passover, one must count from the original full moon as the New Moon. In doing so, it is discovered that the true seventh-day Sabbath is, in fact, lunar, just as it is in every place in Scripture where Passover the 14th is mentioned. The seventh-day Sabbath is always the next day on the 15th of the lunar month. By extension, Isaiah 66:23 reveals that from one New Moon to another, the authentic seventh-day Sabbath is found upon the 8th, 15th, 22nd, or 29th of every lunar month since creation. This year, Passover will occur on 04-30-2022 of the Roman solar calendar. Sabbath’s Consistent Lunar Month Dates.
The Bride in Waiting
As YAHUSHA haMashiach was about to leave His disciples and faithful Bridal followers and return to His Father’s house, He declared a most comforting promise of His return:
“Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in YAHUAH Alahim and in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you; and if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there you will be also.” Yahuchanon (John) 14:3
So for these past 2,000 years, we have all lived during the separation, as “The Bride in Waiting.” As we remain faithful to His kingdom wedding covenant 1)Torah Law and 2)Testimony of YAHUSHA haMashiach, we remain His adored beloved bride and betrothed Princess Bride of His Eternal Kingdom government.
If we have been ignoring either the 1) TORAH LAW or the 2) TESTIMONY OF YAHUSHA haMashiach, as born out in His sacred Lunar Appointed Feast Days, we have NOT been abiding in His Bridal Covenant and would be wise to take this time to turn it all around.
For the most part, the Jews have ignored the Testimony of YAHUSHA haMashiach, and the Christian denominations have all ignored the TORAH LAW. So it is that both groups have BROKEN THE BRIDAL COVENANT!!!
In times of ignorance, YAHUAH winks but now seeks to restore His unadulterated truths among all who seek His face. (Acts 17:30)
The Return of the Bridegroom
In the Roman year 2023 and the Creator’s Calendar year 5992, the waiting is nearly over, and our Bridegroom will soon return for His faithful and obedient Covenant Bride. The Bride’s focus is to make herself ready, washing her robes (wedding garments) and making them white in the blood of the Lamb. (Rev. 7:14)
Proverbs 7:19-20 puts it this way:
“For my husband is not at home, he is gone on a long journey. He took a bag of money with him [to purchase your/my eternal life and home]; at the FULL MOON he will come home.” Proverbs 7:19-20 ESV
While He will return for His Bride on the full moon, it will be the full moon of the Seventh Lunar Month, in the fall at the termination of the prophetic 1,260 days (the 42 months or 3.5 years). His return will be synchronized to His sacred and set-apart lunar appointed Feast Days. The prophetic time of Revelation 11 and the Feast Days terminate in the fall. But alas, He is only returning for His covenant Bride who said YES to His betrothal and has lived and aligned her soul temple in accordance with PASSOVER, the ultimate fulfillment of His 1) TORAH LAW and the 2) TESTIMONY of YAHUSHA haMashiach.
Today, if you hear His voice, it is your opportunity to say YES to His covenant and become eternally betrothed to YAHUSHA haMashiach. He loves you with an everlasting love and desires to save you on that great, glorious day when the trumpet shall sound! HalleluYah!
“Can a virgin forget her ornaments, or a bride her attire? Yet My people have forgotten My days without number.” YerimiYAHU (Jeremiah) 2:32
“I will greatly rejoice in YAHUAH, My soul shall be joyful in my Alahim; for He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.” YeshaYAHU (Isaiah) 61:10
“GATHER THE PEOPLE, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children and nursing babes; let the bridegroom go out from his chamber, and the bride from her dressing room.” Yoel (Joel) 2:16
“Then I will cause to cease from the cities of Judah and from the streets of Yarushalom (Jerusalem) the voice of mirth and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride. For the land shall be desolate.” YerimiYAHU (Jeremiah) 7:34
“And he said unto me, Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said unto me, these are the true sayings of YAHUAH Alahim.” Revelation 19:9
