Testimony of Vai Thomas

I am Vai Thomas, a 58 yo woman, mother, and retiree sending greetings from Port Moresby, NCD, Papua New Guinea, a nation just north of Australia and in the South Pacific.

I come from this nation that is diverse in customs & cultures, with different tribes and over 800 different languages, so growing in my faith has its many challenges, especially with our customs and cultures but as a truth seeker and a believer in YAHUSHA, I try my best to be obedient to the commandments of YAHUAH in living my life daily.

Life today is so different from when I was born in a small village on a tropical island, growing up in that humble setting, and then moving into our small hometown province of a growing nation that was once a land where head hunters and warriors roamed. 

This small island nation developed as a colony of Great Britain and a seventh state of Australia before it became the sovereign nation of Papua New Guinea in 1975. 

My country has also charted its own wilderness journey as a nation that once was in the dark ages. However, its indigenous peoples converted from our old ways of  warfare and headhunting to the Light of TRUTH and the Good News of the Gospel of YAHUSHA Messiah when missionaries landed on our shores in the early 1900s.

I will forever be grateful for accidentally downloading TheCreatorsCalendar.com from the internet while soul-searching for TRUTH before I celebrated the Feast of PESACH. I didn’t really study it (the calendar) right away as I was celebrating the Passover Feast, ULB, etc., from sunsets: Monday the 22nd of April to Tuesday the 30th of April.

It was only after I had completed the Passover week celebration that I opened up The Creators Calendar and to my surprise, realized that the 24th of April was the start of 1st Month Aviv….I was like…WOW, so I knew I was still in my wilderness journey searching for TRUTH. So, here I had stumbled on something new and was humbled to know that I must be on the path to being led to finding a lot more answers to all the Biblical truths that I still had in question.

I am now encouraged all the more by this website to learn all that I can, with the aid of the Bible that I have (Hebraic Roots 3rd edition), and I also hope that The Restored WORD OF YAHUAH will be available for the remnants seeking ALL TRUTH. 

I also would like to share with you that the word ‘YAHUAH’ in my local dialect means ‘BREATH’  and ‘YALUAH’ means Spirit. These words are my mother tongue, and the moment I saw the word ‘YAHUAH.’ I knew I was just at the beginning of the pathway to seeing the Light.

I was raised in a ‘Christian home,’ worshipping on Sunday mornings since growing up as a child. My spiritual journey as an adult caused Sunday service to come to a stop in 2010 as I began to realign to the Sabbath in 2014. I stepped into my first Shabbat worship in 2015 after I celebrated the Feast of PESACH/Passover with some friends in Port Moresby. I kept Sabbath worship and had my last time of worship in a messianic congregation in 2021. I resorted back to Sabbath keeping in my home up till now (and I will correct myself to Sabbath keeping according to The Creators Calendar).

I have also shared the website with my sister, who lives in another province, and I can’t wait to share it with my elder brother, who lives close by. I give all my heartfelt Praise and Thanksgiving to YHUH, and I will repent BIGTIME for all that Replacement Theology has indoctrinated in me and all mankind. I give Glory to the Almighty YHUH for all the information and help provided by this website to all souls searching for TRUTH because I believe that everything happens in His Perfect Time.

YHUH and YAHUSHA be praised for all the great things that I have experienced in my Life…the journey of Hope and Contentment….and TRUTH that sets us free. HalleluYHUH!!
