Ten Degrees To and Fro
on the Sundial

1. Did the correlating gear-system between His trinity of LIGHTS really shift permanently at the time of the great flood, as some propose?

2. Add to this the event when the sun stood still for Joshua, or when the shadow went backward on the sundial as a promise to King Hezekiah that he would be healed.  Has time ever corrected itself? 

3. How might a real or even fictional alteration of the original time-measuring model impact the Kadosh (sacred) Lunar Appointed Times given to Moses and Aaron (New Moon Days, Sabbath Days, and annual Feast Days)?

4. But ultimately how might such a time alteration affect the Lunar Appointed Feast Times and their prophetic fulfillments provided by our Messiah’s death and resurrection and His continuing work of Salvation on behalf of sinners?

5. How could a changing worship rhythm as some declare, affect mankind’s trust in their Creator?

6. Would modern-day seekers of truth be able to prepare for the Second Coming and synchronize their soul temples to that of the Messiah, if the Creator’s Calendar has been altered over the years? 

7. Is there any room for declaring the modern Scripture translations may contain errors relating to TIMES and LAWS as declared in Daniel 7:25?

8. What is the real issue at stake?

• When performing this awesome miracle, did Yahuah Alahim only cause the shadow on the sundial to go backward and leave it there permanently altered, or did He also return it back to its original and natural progressive starting place?   
• What would be Yahuah’s purpose in leaving the sun in an altered position by 10 degrees, since it is one of the heavenly LIGHTS that synchronize earthlings with His very seat of power?

Based upon the evidence above in the Word Study, providing the original Hebrew text, we discover, contrary to popular belief, born out of faulty translations (Jeremiah 8:8-9), the shadow on King Hezekiah’s sundial was not moved in only one direction that day. Instead, the shadow on the sundial was moved to and fro, backward and forward, ultimately returning it to its original starting point. This was a private sign of Yahuah’s promise and power to heal King Hezekiah. It was NOT A SIGN to the world at large that our celestial timepiece was about to change forever, becoming out of sync from that day forward with the worship rhythms of the very throne room of the Most High, or forever to remain 40 minutes late. An arrangement borne out of this kind of mischief brings Yahuah and His power over time into question.  How could our Creator require strict and accurate Sabbath-keeping from His followers if He has allowed time to drift out of sync with Him? 

The following quote from Flavius Josephus in his book Antiquities of the Jews, speaks to this question.  

“And when Isaiah had asked him what sign he desired to be exhibited, he desired that he would make the shadow of the sun, which he had already made to go down ten steps [or degrees] in his house, to return again to the same place, to make it as it was before. And when the prophet prayed to God to exhibit this sign to the king, he saw what he desired to see, and was freed from his distemper, and went up to the temple, where he worshipped God, and made vows to him.”  Antiquities of the Jews, Flavius Josephus, Book X, Chapter 2, #1. 

Verse 8 is rather straightforward, except for the second word highlighted in red. This is the word choice many translations have used that clarifies King Hezekiah was to “rise up” (#5927 alah) on the third day. However, the definition chosen does not match the word spelling perfectly. A better term, although still not a perfect fit, is “iniquities of unrighteousness” (#5932 and #5933 ‘alee). The original intent of this verse was to identify that King Hezekiah was to be healed of an illness caused by moral perverseness or sin on the third day.  But this is not key to this subject.

Verse 9 is Isaiah’s declaration of Yahuah’s sign to King Hezekiah. The arrangement was made, and the promise was given that the shadow on the sundial would depart from its natural progression by going backward in the direction it had just come from. However, as stated, it was nevertheless returned to its original and natural progressive starting point at the same ten degrees. 

Of particular notice is that, unlike most modern translations, there is no question posed to King Hezekiah that gives him a choice as to which direction the shadow should move on the sundial, whether forward or backward. The word “shall,” which implies a question, does not exist in this verse. Also not present is the word “or,” which is also utilized in many translations to give King Hezekiah the option of the sun moving forward “or” backward by ten degrees. When both of these words are removed and the interlinear order of the original Hebrew text restored, we find that all three verses testify unanimously that the shadow was moved backward and then returned to its correct and progressive position. As illustrated in the table above, the Hebrew prefixes and suffixes determine so much of the text, and these two words are not even present.

Verse 10 highlights King Hezekiah as concurring with the wisdom of Yahuah’s sign: first, decline the shadow in the opposite direction of its natural movement by ten degrees, but then move it back again by the same ten degrees.

Verse 11 defines Isaiah’s cry to Yahuah requesting a sign for which they had discussed and agreed upon. “Turn backward even the shadow at sunset as it goes down by degrees, then seize it back again [to its original and correct position] ten degrees.” Thus, for the third verse in a row, it is overtly identified that the shadow on the sundial was NEVER intended to remain in an altered position. But Yahuah’s purpose in giving this miraculous sign was first for King Hezekiah but also to illustrate His omnipotence, power, and authority that He bestows on those He loves and forgives.

In this verse, many liberties have been taken by modern translators who radically change the order and meaning of the text. Additional words that are not present in the Hebrew prefixes or suffixes were added. The term “Ahaz” (#271 אחז ‘achaz) can either be translated as a proper noun, referring to King Ahaz, the father of King Hezekiah, or it can be translated as a verb (#270 אחז ‘achaz – seize). In this case, the context of the sentence requires it to be the verb “seize.” This is verified by the context of the previous two verses.

Verses 9, 10, and 11 consistently bear witness to the same facts that individually are striking but collectively reveal exponential evidence. It is shown that the shadow on the sundial was to be turned back from the direction of the setting sun by ten degrees and then returned by ten degrees to its original starting point. When all was complete, the sun was in the very same location from which it had begun, or more specifically, where it should be along its natural and progressive course, as if none of this had ever transpired. Note that not a word was prophesied that time was to shift. Also note that the focus here is on the sun, and nothing was said about the moon’s location being altered.

Worship Synchronization- The Real Issue at Stake

Whether one has held to the theory that time according to the celestial mechanism shifted permanently at the time of King Hezekiah, at the fall of man in Eden, the time of the flood, or at the time of Joshua, these theories must be brought to their logical conclusions to recognize the full extent of the damage they could potentially cause. If any of these theories were true, it would mean that Earth’s New Moon is no longer in sync with the New Moon and Sabbath of the throne of the Most High. This means we would be operating on two different time systems: the earth’s system and that of the New Yarushalom, the sacred home of our Creator. 

Some who believe these theories assume that Yahuah continues today to keep a 30-day month that commences with the New Moon. At the same time, they believe the earth is deteriorating and alternating 29 or 30 day months, beginning with its unsynchronized New Moon. Thus, a discrepancy of a single day every other month would keep the worship days from harmonizing between the Creator Alahim, who is the focus of our worship, and us. 

On a side note, if one follows a week that cycles without end and doesn’t believe the New Moon days are also sacred, there will be no perceived discrepancy ever. This is likely the mindset of many famous astronomers who may have considered these Scriptural time alterations throughout history.  If they lived between A.D. 325 and modern times, the paradigm is that weeks, months, and years are based entirely on the Roman solar time model. 

“Several customs which prevailed during the age between the Exodus of the Israelites and the resurrection of Christ had so completely changed by the seventeenth Christian century that the translators of the “Authorized Version” of the English Bible were not able to perceive some important truths taught in the Greek version of the Old Testament and the Greek New Testament.  Unseen truth would not be clearly translated into the English Bible.  The student who of necessity was limited in his studies to the English version would not be able to see more truth than was expressed in the English version. . . Second—Since the Jews for more than sixteen centuries have been observing a Saturday Sabbath, and since Christians have been for more than eighteen centuries having a fixed Sunday Sabbath, it is only reasonable to expect most Sabbath writers to try and interpret all Bible Sabbath teachings on the theory of fixed septenary cycles [unbroken cycles of seven days].  But the noted Rabbi Hirsch believes and teaches that “The old (Jewish) Sabbath had no connection with a fixed [cycling] week.” Third—The passing out of sight of the old Bible lunar calendar and the now almost universal effort to interpret the Bible upon the basis of solar calendars. . .  Sixth—The losing sight of the use of uncounted days in the Bible calendar. . . Because of the failure to note the above mentioned difficulties it has become quite difficult so to write or teach as to be clearly understood about the Bible Sabbaths.” Sunday the World’s Rest Day, The Sabbath—The Lord’s Day, by Rev. The Time-centric Charted Course to Restore Fallen Mankind

The earth and humankind were created perfect, but as a result of sin, the earth was cursed for man’s sake. Once, the earth and humankind were perfect, but now they are both on a downward spiral. At this drama’s commencement, our loving, compassionate Father and His Son mapped out a plan and charted a course to rescue earthlings according to a fixed astro-luni-solar time plan. This is otherwise known as the plan of salvation and revealed to Moses in the set-apart time-centric Feast Days, as worked out in the Temple services.

Following are ten points of evidence that, by their very existence, ensure that our celestial shamayim (heavens) have NEVER been out of sync, for more than a portion of a day, with that of the throne room of the Almighty, our Creator, and Savior.  In other words, the following 10 points have ensured that NO TIME has ever been lost or changed.  This means that the Sabbath at the throne of Yahuah Alahim is the standard by which Earth’s true New Moon and Sabbaths are and remain in perfect alignment. Any surmising beyond this will demonstrate an erroneous assumption. 

Evidence #1— Time from Creation to the Flood

From creation (circa 4000 BC) to the flood (circa 2349 BC), the astro-luni-solar time mechanism would have no reason to be out of sync with the throne room of the New Yarushalom, unless the Creator no longer cared if earthlings worshiped Him in one accord or not. But over the millennia, some have gone so far as to suggest that Yahuah Alahim/Elohim cursed the movements of the moon at the time that the earth was cursed for man’s sake. Some believe that the lunar orbit changed at the time of the flood and that the earth may have become larger as it was filled with the waters from above. Some have claimed the Creator became too busy with other projects to coordinate our time measuring for sacred days with His throne room. Others have mocked that the Creator has fallen asleep at the helm. But is there any truth in these theories?

Behold, He that keeps Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. Psalms 121:4.

Strikingly, the flood was a pivotal event in Earth’s history when the Almighty was intimately involved in preserving the Melchizedek (Righteous Kohen) lineage from which the Messiah was to come. Thus, synchronization between Himself and His dutiful followers was essential for fulfilling this important prophecy. It is all about the PROMISE, THE PLAN OF SALVATION that commenced with the fall of Adam and Eve. All of Yahuah’s promises regarding the Messiah are time-centric echoes from the Garden of Eden. They are, by their very nature, prophetic and must be fulfilled at their fixed and preordained appointment times. They cannot miss their intended targets or deadlines, which would signal a false prophecy. The same holds true today.

Evidence #2— Prophetic Time

Although it may have been challenging to identify the New Moon day of each month and keep track of the number of days aboard Noah’s ark, the record of numbered months does not come from Noah. It was Moses, under the direct guidance of Yahuah, who defined five months totaling 150 days during the cataclysmic events of the flood. This may have been the first classic case of rounding up numbers that may fit a five-month prophetic year block of time that totals 360 prophetic days.  All prophecy is based upon the 360-day year model, which is the halfway point between lunar years of 354 days and solar years of 365 days.  Also, the flood was the prophetic time-centric fulfillment of Genesis 6:3.

And Yahuah said, “My Ruach (Spirit) shall not strive with man forever, for he is indeed flesh; yet his days shall be one hundred and twenty years (revolutions).” Genesis 6:3

Evidence #3— The Sabbath as a Sign of Synchronization

When Yahuah Alahim made and ordained the sun, moon, and stars during the creation week, all things were perfect and flawlessly synchronized to the worship rhythms of His very throne room. Here, our Creator dwells, who receives our worship and that of His messengers above, and other potential unfallen worlds. Remember, our Sabbath was His Sabbath, our workdays were aligned with His workdays; earth’s New Moon Day was impeccably in step with that of the Kadosh (Holy) City’s New Moon day. Thayer’s Greek Lexicon clarifies that there is a New Moon in the sacred city regulating the fruit on the tree of life; see Revelation 22:2 below.

“. . .on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, which yields its fruit [according to the measure of] each New Moon. Revelation 22:2  [Thayer’s Greek Lexicon insertion] [Every mention of “month” in Scripture is in reference to a lunar month or its first day of the lunar month, New Moon Day.]

Scripture has identified that the seventh-day Sabbath was determined to be counted from the New Moon Day and that the New Moon Days are also sacred and set apart (Ezekiel 46:1-3, Isaiah 66:23). But if the time system on earth were, in actuality, altered as many believe, the New Moons would be ineffective in correctly harmonizing earth’s Sabbaths with that of Yahuah Alahim for synchronized worship. 

Therefore, if the theory were true that earth is no longer in harmony with the rhythms of the New Yarushalom, it would UNDERMINE all the time-centric prophetic markers of the entire Bible and its formulated plan of salvation provided by our Messiah. It would declare Yahuah the Most High a liar. For it was He who declared each of the following as signs of our obedience via synchronization to His worship rhythms:

“Surely My Sabbaths you shall keep, for it is a sign between Me and you throughout your generations . . .” Exodus 31:13 NKJV

 

Moreover also I gave them MY SABBATHS to be a sign [of obedience and synchronization] between me and them, that they might know that I am Yahuah that sanctify them. Ezekiel 20:12

 

. . .but the seventh day is the Sabbath of Yahuah your Alahim. Exodus 20:10

 

For in six days Yahuah made the shamayim and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore Yahuah sanctified the Sabbath day and hallowed it. Exodus 20:11

If our perceived Sabbath is different in any way from our Creator, then it is not sacred or set apart. Nor can our Sabbath be a sign that we are in sync with the worship rhythms He laid out for His true followers.

So the Creator, Yahuah Alahim, gave humankind His Sabbaths to be a SIGN of both loving obedience and synchronization. While the Sabbath is His gift from above, it is not like an inert, motionless pair of socks or a house, but it is a gift of TIME utilized for synchronization between Him and us, the Creator and His creation. The Sabbath and the manna given in the wilderness carry some similarities regarding obedience and time. IT IS A POINT OF TRANSACTION AND INTERACTION. His synchronized lunar Sabbath days are always a defined and specific sign of His consistent tender care toward us and our loving obedience to Him. Not just any old day or unit of time will do from an assorted choice of calendar systems. For only one TIME-MEASURING MODEL bears His astro-luni-solar signature.

Evidence #4—From Noah to Abraham

Between the time the ark of Noah safely came to rest (circa 2349 BC) in the mountains of Ararat (Genesis 8:4) and the Abrahamic Covenant (circa 1925 BC) was established several hundred years later, a major time-altering event occurred in the Shinar valley, in the city of Babylon.

It is shocking that so soon after the ark landed and humankind began to multiply, they seemed wholly bent on evil. No doubt, the ruler of darkness recognized that if he could inject his deceptions early into this initial nucleus group, he could spread his poison the world over as they dispersed.

It is from Babylon, the center of the then-known world, that rebelliousness to the Creator raised its viper’s head. Under the leadership of Nimrod and his wife Semiramis, the sun worship cult was born.

Their new invention reckoned TIME-MEASURING of years, months, weeks, and days by the three-part conjunction of the sun, moon, and stars by day.  This meant that each time the moon came into conjunction, an imaginary straight arrow was formed that marked the starry constellation on the opposite side of the sun as the ruling constellation by day. This was 180 degrees opposite of the Creator’s ordained time continuum, which stipulated that the sun ruled alone by daylight but that the moon ruled together with the stars by night. (Genesis 1:16.) Those rebels opposed Yahuah by 180 degrees to defy His plan to keep Earth synchronized via the full New Moons and lunar Sabbaths.  By following this illustrious plan, the whole world was to become disengaged from their Creator’s synchronized corporate worship plan.  Stunningly, if you think this arrangement is a mere ancient coincidence, think again.  The modern Yahudim (Jews) adopted this exact Babylonian system in the year A.D. 353, under the direction of Hillel II, when pressure from Rome to change their calendar became too great to bear.  It is from this ancient pagan foundation that U.S.N.O., N.A.S.A., and many other time-keeping institutions pay homage to their acquired New Moon conjunction lunar phase.  Yet, even so, they admit that they must measure time from full moon to full moon simply because they can’t measure the distance between objects they cannot see. 

“In AD 351-352 Roman persecution flared and the Jews revolted.  They were soon crushed.  Many Jewish towns were destroyed and decrees issued against the local authorities and against Judaism.  The privileges of the head of the Sanhedrin and the freedoms of the Sanhedrin itself were curtailed.  Roman pressure to conform “Jewish” TIME to Roman TIME had reached crisis level. ibid

 

Under this pressure Hillel II agreed to limit the functions of the head of the Sanhedrin, as well as the Sanhedrin itself, with respect to proclaiming the New Moon, setting festival dates, and employing intercalation [inserting the 13^th lunar month].  With the decline of the Jewish power-base in Israel, the Jewish community in Babylon had been rising in influence to fill the vacuum. Hillel II published details informing all Jews of the methods of the [new] calculated calendar developed in Babylon.  From that time on the Sanhedrin in Judea ceased to function or to maintain calendar experts.  Hillel II is thus given the credit for the present fixed Rabbinical calendar, but in reality it originated in Babylon and was just the starting point of the development of the Rabbinical calendar in use today.” Encyclopedia Judaica, s.v. “Hillel”.

 

“The arrangement of the Jewish calendar as used in the time of Christ is no longer operative.  Modern Jews are divided into two classes.  The Karaite Jews, whose numbers are small, reject tradition and the Talmud, observe their feasts and festivals more nearly with those of Christ’s time as regards the true season. The larger number of Jews follow the Rabbinical Calendar, the product of Rabbi Hillel II and others about 353 A.D. These incorporated into it many of the ancient rules of calculation, but begin their year, and feasts and festivals a month earlier in the season than the Karaites.  We have in 1844 the atonement by the Rabbinical Calendar would be September 23^rd, while by the Karaites it was about that time in October.  By the Rabbinical calendar the First day of Nisan is always between March 12 and April 11, and is always one of four days, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday the first one after the new moon for that month.” Creation Centered in Christ, by H.G. This system of marking the shamayim (heavens) by the sun was then fastened securely to astrology, a theory that one’s life and events can be mapped according to the Zodiac constellation signs. Thus, a self-focused lifestyle was created aimed at becoming wholly independent from Yahuah, their Creator. This time-reversing invention, born out of rebellion against the Creator, perfectly transitions into their construction of the great tower of Babel. Ultimately, Yahuah ended the tower by confounding the language and dispersing the people. But he did not erase from their minds its contaminating effects.

This image is a classic illustration of how Babylonian luni-solar time is measured. The Earth is depicted in its orbit around the sun.  The yellow arrow, known as the solar line of orientation, illustrates how time is measured utilizing the sun and dark conjunction to mark the ruling constellation on the opposite side of the universe from the Earth during daylight. The paradox is that the constellations are not visible by day. Thus, an instrument must be utilized to measure what is visible by night to deduce what is not visible by day. This remains to this day 180 degrees opposite of our Creator’s pre-ordained time-measuring system (Genesis 1:16, Psalms 136:7-10). Yet, this time system developed in Babylon has been embraced by all the world, including those claiming to be Scripture (Tanakh) believers. (Click to enlarge images.)

Adding a conjunction lunar phase to the above image and aligning the spheres in their order from 1) the earth, 2) through the dark moon, 3) through the sun, and 4) to mark the ruling starry constellation only further cements the sun as the marker for all units of time, including worship times. This is the Babylonian sun-worship model, which was adopted by the modern Yahudim (Jews) in A.D. 358. 

This second image clearly illustrates our Creator’s original intent for measuring time.  It displays how the greater light rules the day and the lesser light rules together with the stars by night. (Genesis 1:16)  The earth is depicted in its orbit around the sun. The yellow arrow defines the lunar line of orientation and illustrates the measurement of time marked from one full New Moon to the next full New Moon in the spirals. As a result, each lunar month is a visible and measurable event without the need for instruments to reorient and calculate what is not visible.

In their visible order by night is 1) the earth, 2) the full New Moon, 3) and the stars. The sun is not part of the visible equation from the earth’s perspective in this night sky event, except for its fullness of light reflecting from the full moon. The first full New Moon arising with the constellation Bethula (Virgo) in the spring usher in the true Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day) according to Revelation 12:1, not Pisces.

Then Yahuah made two great lights: the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night [with] the stars.  Genesis 1:16

 

To Him who made great lights, for His mercy endures forever. The sun to rule by day, for His mercy endures forever; the moon and stars to rule by night, for His mercy endures forever. Psalms 136:7-9

Although Babylon succeeded in creating an alternate time-measuring system wholly out of sync with our Eternal Father in the New Jerusalem, the correct method has remained fully intact. Their divergent use of the shamayim (heavenly) lights caused the time to be measured differently. The term “he also made” concerning the stars in Genesis 1:16 does not exist in the Hebrew text.  It should say, “and the lesser light to rule the night with the stars.”  This statement from the first book of Torah Scripture defines the ruling New Moon.  This is because of the little-known fact that the moon’s position identifies its lunar phase. 

Evidence #5—From Abraham to Moses

To punctuate that no time was lost between Abraham (circa 1925 BC) and Moses (circa 1495 BC), Scripture records the number of years to the very day. From the darkened night of the 15th of Abib in which Abraham’s covenant was ratified, it was 430 years to the very day that Yahuah, with the assistance of Moses, led Israel out of Egypt by night (Genesis 15:12-17; Exodus 12:40-41).

Fifteen days prior to the Exodus from Egypt, Yahuah was restored to these willful yet chosen people, His original timekeeping. Exodus 12:1-3 identifies Yahuah declaring, “this New Moon (#2320 חדשׁ Chodesh), shall be your beginning of lunar months,” as He identified the lunar phase that announced New Year’s Day. From that lunar New Moon marker, all the months were to be ordered, and from each New Moon Day, the seventh-day Sabbaths were numbered, and the Feast Days were to be celebrated.  Getting Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day) correct was the precursor and first step required before slaying the Passover Lamb on the correct 14th day.  If they had stubbornly remained affixed to the Egyptian dark conjunction lunar phase as their New Moon, they would have been 15 days late celebrating Passover. They, along with the willful and disobedient Egyptians, would have lost their firstborn sons. 

This occurred in the spring month of Abib, the synchronization point when Israel was to commence its years, lunar months, Sabbaths, and sacred appointed Feast Days. This is further supported by the fact that Israel received manna from above on a predetermined feeding schedule that disallowed gathering it on the lunar Sabbath, which is the day held sacred by Yahuah. Refer to the article “Three Months in a Row.”

During this period, the books of Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy were all written by the same man, Moses, as Yahuah instructed him. These first five books contained all the Creator’s time-centric worship criteria for His obedient and trusting followers from Adam through the promised Messiah.

The sanctuary service and the giving of the manna were both instituted during the wilderness sojourn to re-establish ACCURATE astro-luni-solar time in harmony with that of Yahuah in the New Yarushalom. These details alone testify that timekeeping remained accurate according to the sun, moon, and star model shown to Moses on the mount. This is because the Sanctuary/Temple and its yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily services were established as teaching tools and safeguards to protect the earth’s correct synchronized alignment with the worship rhythms of the New Yarushalom. The Sanctuary/Temple’s fundamental purpose was to demonstrate and proclaim the role of the full moon ruling with the stars by night. It accurately pinpointed the time-centric ministry of the promised Messiah in a world even then dominated by the sun worship cult.

Evidence #6 King Hezekiah

As previously identified, at the time of King Hezekiah (715 BC – 686 BC), the grand miracle provided by Yahuah did not leave the shadow on the sundial in the altered position but returned it back to its previous and natural progression. This miracle was NOT A SIGN to the world that the celestial timepiece had been permanently changed by ten degrees. However, it demonstrated that Yahuah Alahim fully maintained His time-measuring system, even after using it as a token of love and fulfilling a promise to King Hezekiah that he would be healed.

Evidence #7— The Full New Moon’s Visible Sign of Synchronization

Strikingly, as the rainbow was given as a visible sign that a flood would never again destroy the earth, the real full New Moon was designed to be the grand monthly beacon. From its creation, it was ordained to be the visible sign and signature of Yahuah’s eternal set-apart time-measuring system. It is as a covenant promise between the Maker and His children that His celestial timepiece is immutable. The FULL NEW MOON was pre-ordained to be the grand and visible sign in the Celestial east-west time-continuum of the faithful followers who seek to be synchronized to their Creator throughout all eternity. It contrasts sharply with the Roman no-moon model and the Babylonian dark invisible moon time-measuring system adhered to by the whole world.

Isaiah 66:22-23 is more accurately revealed in the following translation from the original Hebrew text.

“Assuredly, as the order of the abode of the stars, the New Moons, and the earth:  The New Moon that I fashioned and placed in order remains firmly the chief corner [marker stone],” declares Yahuah.  “Wherefore, it establishes and confirms your name, marked as a designation of obedience, along with your posterity.  And it shall come to pass according to its abundance— New Moon by New Moon you shall keep; and according to its abundance—Sabbath by Sabbath you shall keep.  And I shall lead all flesh to prostrate in worship, according to this chief corner [marker stone],” declares Yahuah. This verse from antiquity (Isaiah 66:22-23) supports the view that the only changes made in TIME-MEASURING have been by the rebellious-hearted over the centuries, reversing by 180 degrees Yahuah’s plain instructions. They did this by crafting artificial paper wall calendars, mythical datelines, and clocks that keep time according to the witty inventions of their own hearts. Evidence #8— The Messiah Trump Card

It was upon the Sanctuary/Temple astro-luni-solar time model, as shown Moses on the Mount, which was based on the promise of the coming Messiah.

During the Messiah’s earthly ministry, He perpetually worshiped and communed with His Father on the sacred seventh-day Sabbath day. If the Almighty Father was on a strictly 30-day calendar and His Son the Messiah on an alternating 29 or 30-day cycle, their Sabbaths would have seldom harmonized. Neither of them could have fulfilled the sign of the Sabbath that was previously mentioned, as the sign between them, two integral parts of the “god” head, if their Sabbaths were not perfectly synchronized. Because both Father and Son are a sovereign unit, the time they honored jointly as the sacred Sabbath was, without question, the same precise 12-hour day counted from the same New Moon Day.  This fact lends credence to TIME remaining unaltered for more than a temporary purpose and required that the shadow on the sundial was returned to its original sequential rhythm on every occasion. 

And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up for to read. Luke 4:16

According to the Temple/Sanctuary model, the Messiah’s first ministry commenced upon earth’s stage as the Lamb was slain. This was no small matter, as the true Messiah must meet the full spectrum of the twelve time-centric criteria presented in Scripture. These assured that there would be no question that indeed He, Yahusha haMashiach, was the authentic Messiah, the son of the Most High, the long promised LAMB, and Savior of humankind. For He alone was to take upon Himself our sin and, in its place, gift us with Eternal Life.  The following are Passover’s unique time events that highlight the true Messiah.

Our Messiah’s work was centered upon these same precise time principles, which were neither changed nor out of sync. In other words, His time-centric ministry was entirely synchronized to the same TIME-MEASURING MODEL utilized by Moses, Abraham, Noah, Enoch, Adam, and Havah (Eve). 

Following His first coming, the Messiah was to continue perpetually as our High Priest in the courts above until the time of His return, according to the layout of the prophetic appointed Feast Days. This was preordained so that humankind may follow His movements on earth via the set-apart and prophetic Feast Days to know exactly when each ministry changed. Only the humble, forgiven, trusting believers upon the earth will seek to “follow the Lamb whithersoever He goes” via these sacred and preordained yearly festivals according to the full New Moon marker.

Let it not be lost or unrecognized that each and every work of the Messiah was time-centric to the set-apart days of the Temple/Sanctuary service. Thus, this illustrates that He alone is the living reality and fulfillment of the promised Messiah, our High Priest, and our soon-to-be returning Redeemer and King of Kings. Yahusha haMashiach alone fulfilled the time-centric prophecies of Isaiah 53 and Daniel 2, 7, and 9 to the letter. Most are not aware that the Jews are forbidden to read these. For, within their own organization, some know that if their people read these chapters, they would know that indeed the Messiah has already come and they received Him not.  But it is never too late to turn this all around.  

Also, had the celestial time system been out of sync with Earth when our Messiah treaded His lonely pathway, He would have proactively made corrective statements in that regard, but the fact is that He did not.  Every action of His ministry was hung upon Earth’s full New Moons and Sabbaths. By extension, there is astounding and unshakable evidence that earth’s preordained TIME-MEASURING MODEL continues unadulterated and with precision is fastened to the time-centric elements of Yahuah Alahim’s very throne room by way of the nails that pierced our Savior.

Evidence #9—Lunar Appointed Time

Of key importance is the evidence that the crucifixion of the Messiah occurred at the prophetic APPOINTED TIME, and specifically Lunar Appointed Time, at the very moment of a solar eclipse and dark conjunction lunar phase on Passover, the 14th of Abib. (Luke 23:44-45)  A solar eclipse on the day of the Messiah’s death had been prophesied 800 years earlier by the prophet Amos. By extension, this identifies the full moon, fourteen days earlier, as the actual New Moon. Passover, the 14th day, for both the throne of Yahuah and earth, was either the synchronizing event or it was not. It cannot be both ways. We can have confidence that the full New Moons of the throne of Yahuah Alahim and those of Earth continue to be synchronized and unchanged beacons of His marvelous LIGHT.  These have been consistent from the time of Creation to Noah, Moses, King Hezekiah, and the Messiah, and remain steadfast even to this very day. As a result, all full New Moons and lunar Sabbaths upon Earth perpetually continue to be synchronized with those of the very seat of Yahuah’s authority in the New Yarushalom.  This is because the Sabbath the Messiah kept in His death, He obediently kept in His life, and will continue to keep throughout the completion of His ministry in the courts above. Evidence #10

The very fact that so much effort by the prince of darkness has been given to reversing the Creator’s Calendar by 180 degrees and hiding the original full New Moon beneath a heap of erroneous Scripture translation rubble is in itself a stunning testimony.  For the shamayim (heavens), continue to declare accurate time in sync with our Creator’s throne room. If the TIME-measuring system had been in disrepair, it would never have received so much attention from the rebellious-hearted nations of Babylon, Egypt, or Rome, as well as the Jews themselves of the fourth century A.D.  It is no longer a secret that the Jews pursued a new calendar model in the fourth century A.D. Its purpose was to help remove them farther from all historical ties to the time-centric facts of that fateful day when they rejected their promised Messiah and had Him killed.  

Conclusion

1. When performing this awesome miracle, did Yahuah Alahim only turn the shadow on the sundial backward and leave it there permanently altered, or did He also return it back to its original and natural progression?  No, He specifically returned it to its original and natural progression of time. 
2. What would be Yahuah’s purpose in leaving the sun in an altered position by 10 degrees? There is no purpose in it.  Stunningly, such a change would have negatively affect the synchronization of all units of time.
3. What impact would a changed time-system of earth have upon our monthly New Moons, weekly Sabbaths, and annual set-apart Feast Days for synchronized worship of our Creator?  Earth’s time system would be delayed and not in sync with our Creator.
4. Is there any room for declaring the modern English Scripture translations to be in error? Absolutely!
5. What is the real issue at stake?  Synchronized worship of our Creator in harmony with His Torah and Sabbath Command.  If time is truly out of sync, it becomes irrelevant.  Yet, all of Scripture declares the continued relevance of time.  Also, there is the unstated challenge that the Creator can not keep accurate time, or even that He is sleeping on the job.
6. How might the time-centric facts brought to bear in this study highlight that at no time, following the flood, the time of Joshua, or King Hezekiah was time left in an altered state?  It illustrates that time synchronization is reliable and paramount to our Creator, past, present and future.  Stunningly, it tells us that the Creator’s Calendar of astro-luni-solar TIME remains unchanged today, and that His time-centric worship days are still viable. 

Based upon the evidence discussed in this article, it is illogical to presume that there was a time change in synchronization between the throne room of our Eternal Father, Yahuah Alahim/Elohim, and the TIME ordained at creation. The temple mechanism, coupled with the full New Moon of the shamayim, protected and accurately illustrated that the Creator had not, nor would ever conceive of, allowing the Earth to fall off the original and accurate TIME platform. WHY! The answer is that simply everything of prophetic nature depended upon perfect and perpetual continuity of TIME synchronization between the Creator’s seat of authority and His beloved faithful of Earth. If this essential tie were broken or perceived to be broken, the Most High’s reputation would be irreparably tarnished. Might this be why the prince of darkness, the enemy of souls, would like the world to believe that Earth’s time mechanism no longer has any relevance to the worship rhythms of Yahuah and His Son in the New Yarushalom?

ALL PROPHECY IS TIME-CENTRIC both anciently and to this day. Just as our Messiah’s death on the cross was synchronized to the exact and specific lunar appointed time of Passover as counted from the full New Moon Day, time itself must continue by this SAME METHOD UNTIL ALL PROPHECY IS COMPLETED. 

All those who continue to embrace and advocate that the astro-luni-solar time of the shamayim has shifted by a day or more since creation, causing the full New Moons and Sabbaths to be out of sync, are in effect undermining the prophetic foundations of the entire Plan of Salvation. This promotes a slanderous lie that Yahuah the Most High cannot be trusted, nor is His Word sure. Why would or should mankind continue to seek to worship our Creator on His Full New Moon days, Sabbaths, and set-apart Feast Days if they are erroneous and wholly out of sync with Yahuah in His dwelling place? What would be the motivation to keep any day sacred if none of the days are actually sacred to Yahuah?

STUNNINGLY, SACRED TIME REMAINS STEADFAST upon the sure and accurate principles that Mount Zion was established, and specifically Yahuah’s full New Moon, His chief cornerstone marker. Upon this foundation alone, the beneficiaries of the Almighty’s constant benevolence rests and will remain in one accord in preparation for an eternal home with their Savior.

Let us make every effort to align our soul temples with His sacred and set-apart time prescription. May Yahuah’s name be praised in all the earth! HalleluYAH!!!
