Establish Rosh Hashanah
Below is a short point-by-point list of rules and parameters for establishing the Scriptural START of ROSH HASHANAH as the New Year in spring. It is reminiscent of Genesis 1:1, where it says, “IN THE BEGINNING.” Rosh Hashanah represents the Biblical STANDARD for when the year begins and is greatly contrasted to the 1,700 Roman rules of commencing the year in winter or the 4,000-year-old traditional views of the Babylonians of starting the year in the fall.
Following this list of Rules for the Start of Years, I share my personal testimony of how I discovered the Full Moon as the Biblical start of Years and Months back in 2012.
1. The ruling lunar phase for the start of the Year must be of the light. Father of Lights.
“But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the light, for whatever makes manifest is light.” Ephesians 5:13.
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.” James 1:17
2. The new moon must be a visible lunar phase to be a “trustworthy witness in the sky.” (Psalms 89:37)
In contrast, the night of the Abrahamic Covenant was “dark.” That dark night event occurred 430 years before the Passover in Egypt to the very day. This identifies the night of Israel’s first Passover, the 14th day in the middle of the lunar month, was also a dark lunar phase. (Genesis 15:12, 17.)
3. The authentic New Moon must visibly rule in opposition to the sun but in harmony with the stars by night along the east-west time continuum. Genesis 1:16 establishes that the greater light (sun) rules the daylight. It rises in the east and rules unto its going down in the west. The ruling starry constellations rise in the east and rule the night from east to west. In like manner, the lesser light, the moon, must also rise in the east by night. It must visibly rule all night along the east-west time continuum together with one specific starry constellation, Bethulah (Virgo). Yet, out of 30 lunar phases, only the FULL MOON meets this requirement. The East-West Time Continuum.

4. The full moon is the only lunar phase with light that rules all night from east to west, fitting the New Moon start of the year model above. Ruling Luminaries Shine from East to West.
5. Our Creator ordained the sun, moon, and stars to provide the GREAT SIGN that all desire in the spring for the commencement of the New Year, otherwise known as Rosh Hashanah. Revelation 12:1 answers this need and identifies the the brilliant selene full moon rising at/near/under the feet of Bethulah (Virgo) as the great sign in the heavens. In this verse, the sun, moon, and stars declare this is the start of the year and first lunar month. A Great Sign Appeared in the Heavens.
“Behold a great sign appeared in the heavens (shamayim); a woman [arose in the east] clothed with the sun and the brilliant full moon at her feet, and upon her head was a crown of twelve stars [or starry constellations].” Revelation 12:1
6. While the full moon will occur at Bethulah’s feet some of the years, it can NEVER occur every year but will always return to it every second or third year.
Some try so hard to put the full moon under Bethulah’s feet every year that they are willing to have the full moon in the altogether different constellation of Libra. This causes the beginning of the year to begin in late April or early May. By extension, one negative result of getting this wrong is that it will cause Sukkot in the Seventh Month to occur in November when it is very cold.
7. The Vernal Equinox has no relation to the start of the Biblical year. No abiding principle establishes the first full moon after the Vernal Equinox; neither is there a principle that the closest full moon or another new moon lunar phase on either side of the Vernal Equinox determines the start of the year. None of them work to fit all the other corresponding evidence and criteria. It remains a tool of the solar calendar alone.
8. Josephus, the Jewish Historian, identifies that at the time of Moses, when the children of Yasharal (Israel) were about to leave Egypt, the sun was in the constellation of Aries on the 14th day, the middle of the lunar month of Abib/Aviv. Here is what he said:

“In the [lunar] month of Xanthicus, which is by us called Nissan [Abib], and is the beginning of our year, on the fourteenth day of the lunar month, when the sun is in Aries. For in this [lunar] month it was that we were delivered from bondage under the Egyptians, the law ordained that we should every year slay that sacrifice, which I before told you we slew when we came out of Egypt, and which was called the Passover; and so we do celebrate this Passover in companies, leaving nothing of what we sacrifice till the day following. The Feast of Unleavened Bread succeeds that of the Passover, and falls on the fifteenth day of the [lunar] month, and continues seven days, wherein they feed on unleavened bread…” Antiquity of the Jews, Flavius Josephus, Book 3, Chapter 10, No. 5.
So, what does this mean for us today? It illustrates that the Sun was in the constellation of Aries in the middle of the first lunar month, at the time of Yasharal’s first Passover. Why is this significant? Because 1,500 years later, our Messiah hung on the cross/stake in the middle of the first lunar month. On that very day, there was a solar eclipse. Here is what Luke has to say:
“Now it was about the sixth hour, and there was darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.
ThenTHE SUN WAS DARKENED…“ Luke 23:44-45
This is a perfect description of a Total Solar Eclipse in which the conjunction lunar phase covers the sun for three hours. Surprising to many, portions of the starry constellation directly behind the sun become visible when a Total Solar Eclipse occurs. This is how it could be said and recorded that “the sun was in the constellation of Aries (the Lamb)” on Passover. This is prophetic.
This same evidence of the Sun in Aries applies equally to the time of Messiah, for the very reason a solar eclipse did occur from the sixth hour (noon) to the ninth hour (3:00 p.m.) on the day of His crucifixion. This means that the dark conjunction lunar phase was in the constellation of Aries along with the sun, which the Rabbinical and Karaite Jews have long denied. This blocking of the sun’s light by the dark conjunction lunar phase created the longest solar eclipse in recorded history.
Passover is all about the promised Lamb, the Messiah, to take away the sins of the world. If we were present during that solar eclipse, we would have been witnesses when the heavens declared, “BEHOLD THE LAMB OF YAHUAH WHO TAKES AWAY THE SINS OF THE WORLD.” The scene would have looked very much like this with regard to the dark moon covering the sun and the stars of the constellation becoming visible.
Solar eclipses can occur in all the months of the year but always in the middle. They are witnesses to our Creator’s unchanging sovereignty and His lunar-appointed timepiece, which has always commenced with the full moon. Treasury of Evidence: The Full Moon Announces Lunar Months.
In all previous instances, the sun’s darkening was caused by a solar eclipse. It always occurs when the dark conjunction lunar phase comes between the Earth and the Sun in the middle of the lunar month. Here’s an image of what occurred during that epic day. There was a total eclipse of the sun on the day YAHUSHA haMashiach laid down His life for you and me. This was fulfilled exactly as Amos had prophesied and later recorded in Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Here are images of the full moon’s placement in the constellation of Bethulah. The first image shows the full moon rising at Bethulah’s shoulder, while the second image shows the full moon rising between her knee and feet. We chose the second option because it fits the New Moon Principles more closely.
So, on Passover the 14th, together with the full moon in the constellation Bethulah, the sun must be nearest the constellation of Aries in the middle of the first lunar month.
Considering the two mid-month options below for the year 2024, which date for Rosh Hashanah will provide that 14 days later, on Passover, the sun will be in the constellation Aries?
The image above represents April 8, the middle of the month, the day of the Total Solar Eclipse in the United States. Note that the sun and dark moon are situated in the middle of Pisces’s constellation. This is a month too early because it is one constellation too early. If Passover were to occur this month, it would be placed the day earlier on April 7, meaning that Rosh Hashanah would have been March 25, 2024.
This image is a full month later and depicts the Sun and dark conjunction lunar phase in the constellation of Aries. This month begins with the Full New Moon Day on April 24. We counted 14 days from the previous night to locate Passover and to see if the Sun would be in Aries in the middle of this month. Indeed, the SUN, highlighted with red markers, is in the constellation Aries. Thus, we have confirmation from this second witness that Rosh Hashanah is to begin on April 24, 2024, with Passover following 14 days later on May 7, the day that the Sun is in Aries.
9. Our Creator ordained neither Barley nor any other crop to legislate time. Rather, He gave that job to the SUN, MOON, and STARS from which we get our YEARS, LUNAR MONTHS, LUNAR WEEKS, LUNAR FEAST DAYS, and the LUNAR DEMARCATED DAY COUNT. The trinity of lights in the heavens alone are responsible for the crops that grow on the Earth. So it is that having Barley on time for the Wave Sheaf Offering of the 16th of Abib requires that the correct lunar phase for the Start of the Lunar Months is utilized at the appointed time. If the dark conjunction lunar phase or first visible crescent is utilized in the constellation Pisces instead of the Full Moon near the feet of Bethulah (Virgo), the start of the year will be off by a minimum of 15 to 45 days. This will also make it impossible for the Sun to be in Aries in the middle of the lunar month of Abib/Aviv (Nissan). The early and later rains water the crops and prepare them for harvest. Historically, when Israel remained faithful to Yahuah, the rains consistently came at their appointed times. Restoring the Creator’s Calendar.
10. As a second witness, Scripture records the prophecy of Amos in the Old Testament Tanakh a full 800 years before the Messiah’s crucifixion, declaring a “stricken sun was to occur at noon” on the precise day of the “SACRIFICIAL DEATH OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON.” This pragmatic visual event of a SOLAR ECLIPSE was to be the celestial SIGN of the authentic Messiah. 11. Josephus’s evidence reveals that a solar eclipse on the 14th day in the middle of the lunar month means that both the sun and dark conjunction lunar phase are in the constellation of Aries on the same day in a syzygy order with Earth. Together, these determine that 14 days earlier, the first day of the lunar month was a full moon—the Fourth Day of Creation. 
12. There has been some evidence that the year should start between Bethulah’s head and Spica rather than her feet. But in the testing of forty years, the test has failed, as it starts the year too early to allow the sun to be in the constellation of Aries in the middle of the lunar month of Abib/Aviv (Nissan), ever. When the month starts too late by choosing the wrong full moon, the sun will have already passed through Aries.
13. This last point brings new foundational anchor points to the historical perspective as it has been recently discovered. All of the above is further supported by François Lenormant’s “Origines de l’Histoire” (History of the Origins), published in 1880 and also recorded in the 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica, p. 993. He was a French Assyriologist, meaning an archeologist of Assyria and Babylon. He identified that the early Mesopotamian culture utilized the full moon as the start of months and years. Remember, this was the first civilization following the flood. This represents the first and second generations of Noah after the flood, who, along with his family of eight, had remained faithful to their Creator and, as a result, were saved in the ark.
“Assyria and Babylonia—The twelvefold division of the zodiac was evidently suggested by the occurrence of twelve full moons in successive parts of it in the course of each year. This approximate relation was first systematically developed [or maintained] by the early inhabitants of Mesopotamia and formed the starting point for all other divisions of time… [Later] The idea of tracing the sun’s path among the “stars“ [by daylight] was when it occurred to Chaldaean astronomers, an original and, relatively to their means, a recondite one. We owe to its realization by them the constitution and nomenclature of the [modern] twelve signs of the zodiac.” 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica – Zodiac, p. 993, Lenormant, Orgines de l’Histoire, Vol. 1, p. 236.
As identified in his quote above, originally, it was twelve full moons in contrast to the dark or crescent lunar phases in their order that designated the lunar months of each year. And because full moons occur by night, they consistently measured the night sky together with the stars exactly as defined by the four witnesses of Scripture as found in Genesis 1:16, Psalms 136:7-9, Jeremiah 31:35-36, and Revelation 12:1.
Secondly, and of equal importance, this quote also validates that the full moons formed the starting points for ALL other divisions of time. As a result, this means the full moons determined the time division of Years, Months, Weeks, Sabbaths, and Days, including annual lunar appointed Feast Days. By extension, this includes the authentic seventh-day Sabbath, the sacred worship day of our Creator that has existed from eternity past. So contrary to the modern Rabbinical and Karaite Jews’ Saturday, as found on the modern Roman replacement solar calendar, the Creator’s Kadosh (holy, sacred, and set-apart) seventh-day Sabbath has and will always be measured from full moon to full moon through all eternity. Isaiah 66:23. This is, therefore, a nail in a sure place as it is in harmony with all of Scripture and astronomy!
Thirdly, note that on page 993 of the 1911 Encyclopaedia Britannica, still quoting from François Lenormant’s “Origines de l’Histoire” (History of the Origins), he identifies that years later, the Chaldaean astronomers from this same region [likely under the leadership of Nimrod and Semiramis], invented and introduced the method of measuring time by tracing the sun’s path among the starry constellations of the zodiac by daylight. The term utilized to describe this variance from the original method of measuring the full moon against the starry constellations by night was a “recondite” one. The term “recondite” means concealed, hidden, and secret.
So, what exciting evidence is brought to light by the discovery of this quote, and what does it all mean?
The full moon was Rosh (head/ first) of all divisions of time, including the Year, Month, Week, count of Days from 1-29 or 30, including the annual Feast Days among the faithful early descendants of Noah who worshiped the one Yahuah Alahim, our Creator, by name. Then later, the Chaldaean astronomers from the same region, likely under the leadership of Nimrod (third generation from Noah) during the time of building the Tower of Babel, were the originators of the counterfeit and replacement time-measuring system that is so popular to this day. They single-handedly changed Yahuah Alahim’s time-centric laws by inventing a new method of measuring time that was entirely contrary to the original. This may have been the pivotal issue in tandem with building the tower that fomented their rebellion against the Creator as they desired to make a name for themselves. They chose to implement a luni-solar method of measuring the stars with the sun by day when the stars are invisible and hidden. By extension, although not overtly stated, this means that the dark moon, in conjunction with the sun, was introduced and utilized to mark the start of years and months from that moment onward.
This was the inception and beginning of the new “secret or hidden” luni-solar system, which was crafted and commenced each year and month, a full 180 degrees opposite that of our Creator’s preordained time-measuring model. Might this be the primary reason for the destruction of the Tower of Babel, the confusion of the languages, and the scattering of the people unto all regions of the earth?
In those early years among the faithful and obedient of Yahuah Alahim, following the flood, no wall calendars, wristwatches, or international datelines were needed because all were perfectly incorporated into the rhythm of the lights high above out of the reach of man and beast. Each unit of time was ordained to fit perfectly into the next larger unit with no overlapping. This is because they were all beaconed by the same trinity of lights, with the full moons marking the starting points of all the divisions of time in a marvelous pattern and rhythm that distinguished each one apart from the rest. This reality alone provides a consistent and visual platform through which mankind may rendezvous with their Creator for all His sacred lunar appointed times.
Seeking to Harmonize ALL Aspects
I recognize that in seeking to get this correct according to the weight of evidence in Scripture, astronomy, and history, I have changed my mind a few times with regard to some of the finer points that are not readily available. While we all would like every new teaching we accept to be built on a solid foundation with no flaws, the full moon as the New Moon remains relatively new. It is very important that I not establish a new view without a willingness to question and explore possible oversights and test them. In doing this, it has appeared I am in conflict with previous charts and articles of previous years. I apologize for any inconvenience it has caused. You can’t see the research and testing that goes on behind the scenes.
What we all desire is to get it right. Our collective desire is for no more New Moon teachings that are not the product of the principles that rule in the heavens or are not recorded in Scripture to guide us into all truth. We are done with the rebellious customs and traditions of the Babylonian astronomers, Roman Emperors, and Rabbinical Jews as taught over the past 1,700 to 4,000 years that have turned from the truth. (Titus 1:14).
I believe you are reading this article now because, like me, you desire to restore our Creator and Messiah’s lost truths, which have been hidden for nearly 2,000 years by the guardians of the lie. Only the authentic principles of time measurement will harmonize Yahuah’s faithful and obedient with His Bridal Covenant, His single remedy provided that we may follow the lamb whithersoever He goes unto our Eternal Salvation. How I Discovered the Full Moon
as the Authentic Start of Lunar Months
When I first came out of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in 2007, I found myself facing the question of which lunar phase is the authentic New Moon. I shared with another who had come out of the same church a year earlier that I believed the full moon seemed to meet most of the Scriptural criteria. No sooner did that leave my lips than she reminded me that Ellen White, the prophetess of our former Seventh-day Adventist church, had identified the first visible crescent as the New Moon, as it was the one used to calculate the Day of Atonement for October 22, 1844, of the Millerite Movement. At the time, I still believed she was a prophet, so those words quieted the spirit of inspiration that had led me to that early understanding of the full moon as the original New Moon. But such as things are, sometimes we must go the long and slow way around to arrive at the truth.
On a side note, I never sought to leave the Adventist Church. In fact, I was happy and content with my fellow believers, family, and friends and at peace. I believed it to be the one true church that would go through to the end. But my loving and compassionate Messiah had other plans.
Because these new truths were so exciting, I felt a calling in the spring of 2008 to create a website to share the many things I was learning to make it easier for others to grasp concepts that had been hidden for so long, were hard to find or, for the most part, did not even exist in contemporary literature. Soon, I was creating calendars for several time zones each year, a daunting task I am now happy to leave to others. But after five years of doing this, I found it impossible to harmonize the Southern Hemisphere with the Northern Hemisphere on the same crescent New Moon Day. I was totally frustrated and felt the weight of so many who put their trust in my working out the kinks and resolving the calendar.
In discussing my frustration with a fellow believer in Alberta, Canada, I jokingly said, “The New Moon is either the dark conjunction lunar phase or the full moon.” Then we both laughed heartily, as we knew the dark conjunction lunar phase did not meet even one piece of evidence in Scripture. With regard to the full moon, suffice it to say, it was totally off my radar, as not one organized Bible-believing group was utilizing it. So, it seemed the full moon was a wayfaring stranger I did not know, nor had I been properly introduced.
While this is how I felt, early on, I did read a 13-page article floating around the internet from a man in New Zealand titled “It’s About Time.” It was somewhat compelling, but I discounted it for three reasons: 1) I continued to esteem Ellen White as a prophet of God (Yahuah), and she defined the New Moon as the first visible crescent. 2) Because it was off the grid of focus by simply everyone. 3) And because some of the finer points of his article were off.
During the summer of 2012, I felt a growing compulsion to confront the question of whether Ellen White was a true prophet and whether I should value her stated views on the lunar calendar, sacred names, and others. I knew I could not remain on the fence for long, as I felt hindered in my spiritual growth.
Well-meaning family and friends had warned me that if I ever read the books that had been written against her, it would be like opening Pandora’s Box, changing my life forever from which I would free fall into a downward spiral. They also stated that if I left the Seventh-day Adventist Church, there was nowhere else to go. But I had come to an impasse, and I had long believed that wisdom lay with hearing both sides of any issue and then making the final decision based upon the weight of evidence and guidance from above. So why would I allow my entire belief system to be held in check by hearing only one side of the story?
This may sound ridiculous to many of you, but this was a much more difficult process for me to work through with regard to whether Ellen White was a prophet than any of the lunar calendar material and sacred name revelations that I had come to believe. I began reading intently the book by D. M. Canright (PDF now posted on this website) titled “The Life of Ellen White.” He knew her well and, as an early convert and Pastor, had worked side by side with both James and Ellen White. As I read, I felt he was fair in the evidence he presented, mostly from letters and manuscripts she had written, illustrating things that were far different than the Adventist Church membership and I had been led to believe all these years later. From the evidence he revealed, both James and Ellen had wielded her elevated position as “Prophetess of God” for power and control. This flew in the face of what we had all been taught: “She never claimed to be a prophet, but that her calling from above was overwhelmingly evidenced by her beautiful written works.”
As this misrepresentation and so many more were exposed, I knew where the weight of evidence lay. I could see that its power over me lay in how I was led to believe the many lies and that she was the author of the beautiful prophetic works. As it turned out, the beautifully written books under her name were the masterpieces of her highly educated hired creative writers, Marian Davis and Fannie Bolton. Add to this that beautifully written works are nowhere to be found as a test of a true prophet in the Bible. Additionally, most of the books she had published had been acquired from other published authors and creatively rewritten, a known impropriety called plagiarism.
“Therefore behold, I am against the prophets, says Yahuah (YHUH), that steal my words every one from his neighbor.” Jeremiah 23:30
After searching Scripture for all the verses that set the Biblical Standard for a true prophet, I could see that Ellen White did not meet the attributes of a true prophet of the Most High Eternal Yahuah. The details are written in the following article. Refer to Scripture’s Test of a True Prophet.
Other books revealing the truth about Ellen White include “The White Lie” by Walter Rae and “Ellen White, a Psychobiography” by Steve Daily. The latter book contains many psychological truths. However, it appears his motivation for writing the book was to disengage from Saturday as the Sabbath, wishing instead to move into harmony with his Sunday-keeping peers.
So there it was. The truth about this long-held lie had been set before me. With great agonizing pain, I denounced her as having any power over my life because I now saw that since it was impossible for her to be a prophet of YAHUAH Alahim (YHUH), the Most High, on many fronts, she had been, therefore, a secret agent of the enemy of souls. The counterfeit can be so persuasive, yet she could not be both. She continues exercising her power over the Seventh-day Adventist Church all these years after her death through her many books to keep the unsuspecting souls locked in a prison of false teachings with regard to the REMEDY unto SALVATION, the Sabbath day, and the sacred names of the Father and Son.
A predominant teaching of the S.D.A. Church is the theory that “Saturday” is the authentic seventh-day Sabbath of creation and Scripture. Yet, from Genesis to Revelation, neither Saturday nor Sunday nor their continuous weekly cycle can be found even once. In addition to this, they make this day that doesn’t even exist in the Bible the primary test of faith, teaching it to be the antidote to receiving the Mark of the Beast, which they claim is Sunday worship. This view leads sincere Adventists to ignore Revelation 12:11 entirely, that “We will overcome him (Satan and the Mark of the Beast) by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB and by the word of our testimony…” which is a testament to celebrating PASSOVER, a lunar appointed Feast Day. This is further explained in the Sanctuary/Tabernacle types, of which the Most Holy Place (Holy of Holies) signifies the very throne of Yahuah in heaven. And one can only enter heaven and eternal life by the BLOOD OF THE LAMB.
So, by default, this fraudulent belief system that Saturday as the Sabbath is the ticket to heaven has no Biblical support. The Sabbath existed in eternity past and was not part of the REMEDY FOR SIN unto Salvation, the mechanism born out in the Feast Day Blueprint to be performed by the Messiah alone. Only one redemptive system was ordained to restore mankind back to the Eternal Father and His Righteous Standard, and that was the lunar appointed Feast Days performed by the Messiah and celebrated by His faithful followers. The authentic lunar seventh-day Sabbath remains part of the Ten Commandments’ Righteous Standard to which faithful and obedient followers of Messiah are being restored.
Conversely, the Saturday Sabbath ticket to heaven belief funnels its naive members directly into Satan’s camp and to receiving the very Mark of the Beast they claim to be immune from. This is because Saturday is the seventh planetary day of the continuous weekly cycle crafted in rebellion to the Torah Law of Yahuah Alahim by Roman Emperors in the fourth century A.D. After this discovery and the dust settled, it turns out both Saturday and Sunday are twin step-sisters of the illegitimate kind. What Does Sunday Worship have to do with Cinderella and the Corona Virus?
From behind the scenes, Satan continues to utilize Ellen White’s adoption of the Roman solar calendar along with the errant Jew’s dark conjunction and crescent New Moon and Saturday Sabbath teachings to stand as an overwhelming obstacle to detour undiscerning folks from discovering the Creator’s Biblical time-centric calendar truths and lunar appointed Feast Days unto salvation. His time-measuring model was predominantly lunar as defined in Genesis 1:14-16, Ezekiel 46:1-3, Isaiah 66:23, and Leviticus 23:1-44, and as portrayed in the yearly, monthly, weekly, and daily Temple services of ancient Yasharal (Israel).
How deceived I had been all my life, born into the fifth generation of this delusion. But the Adventist Church is not alone. All the churches, unaware, take their seat at the round table of misguided teachings to play their part as guardians of the lie. But as it turns out, YAHUAH Alahim, the Most High, allowed this to occur “until the times of the Gentiles are fulfilled.” Luke 21:24.
But now we are living when the times of the Gentiles have been fulfilled. Revelation 13:3 puts it this way, “…ALL THE WORLD WONDERED AFTER THE BEAST.” But now reform and restoration have begun. Many churches’ teachings have missed the mark these past 1,700 years. But for all those who seek an eternal home, the call is given to return to “the commandments we learned from the beginning to walk in” (2 John 1:6). These include the Torah Law, sacred names, the statutes, judgments, testimonies, full moon to full moon lunar timekeeping, sacred full New Moon Days, lunar seventh-day Sabbaths, and lunar appointed Feast Days (Deut. 5:31-33, Deut. 30:6, 1 Kings 2:3, 1 Kings 11:38, Jeremiah 7:23, Malachi 4:4, Psalms 119).
Our Creator fashioned and ordained these as a package deal. They are the METHOD, MECHANISM, and REMEDY by which He chose to RESTORE mankind back to HIS UNADULTERATED STANDARD OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, HIS TEN COMMANDMENTS by way of the ATONING BLOOD OF YAHUSHA, OUR MESSIAH, and LAMB. HalleluYAH!!!
It was necessary for me to face this stronghold in my life and, with the guidance of the Ruach haKadosh (power and provision of YAHUAH and YAHUSHA), gain power over it. This had to occur before I could be free to be led further or be entrusted with greater knowledge of YAHUAH’S MOST SACRED AND ETERNAL TRUTHS.
A few days later, at my wit’s end with regard to which lunar phase was the authentic New Moon, I stood up from my desk and called out in anguish to YAHUSHA haMashiach to open my blind eyes so I could see. I challenged Him, reminding Him that He is the one who has promised and desires to RESTORE His calendar and all the TRUTHS in these last days to prepare a people for His eternal Kingdom to come. I reminded Him of what it says in Daniel 12 about “this book of truth being shut up and sealed to the time of the end, and that we are already there, and here I stand willing to have eyes to see and ears to hear what the Ruach reveals. I desire to be among those “running to and fro” in whom knowledge shall be increased.” I shared how I desired to be one of those who will have a part in “turning many to righteousness as the stars forever and ever.” I told Him if the full moon is the authentic New Moon of creation, the time of Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Ezekiel, Daniel, Jeremiah, and the Messiah, then I will happily accept it as foundational and be joined to that list of faithful, no matter how unpopular. Only then was I at peace, knowing the answer would soon come.
That very night, a seven-part miracle began to occur. At exactly midnight, I was awakened with a couple of Scriptures placed on my mind regarding the New Moon. So I got out of bed and went to my office to write them down. I would never have thought of those verses on my own and was struck by how they were being revealed.
But it didn’t end there. This same phenomenon occurred each of the following five nights at midnight. Each time, I was blown away by the Scripture verses that created a picture of what the moon appeared like, where it was in the sky when it began to rule, and how it worked. All the evidence supported the full moon as the start of years and months. Support Evidence for the Full Moon as the Start of Months.
On the morning of the seventh day, I looked over the list that filled a couple of pages in large print and declared out loud. “I see it, and I believe it! HalleluYAH! “I accept the FULL MOON AS THE START OF YEARS AND MONTHS, but something is still missing from this list!” I exclaimed out loud, “I NEED TO KNOW THE KEY TO THE START OF YEARS?” In that very instant, as a flash of mental lightning, the answer came before I finished stating it! “REVELATION 12:1!!!”
“Behold a great sign appeared in the heavens (shamayim); a woman [Bethulah/Virgo arose in the east] clothed with the sun and the (G#4582 – selene – brilliant full moon) moon at (H#8478 – tachath – under, at, in place of) her feet, and upon her head was a crown of twelve stars [or starry constellations].” Revelation 12:1
I ran directly to my office and uploaded my Stellarium program. While it was populating, in my mind’s eye, I knew this would place the constellation Bethulah/Virgo standing upright in the east in spring with the full moon near her feet. How had I missed it? But there it was now before me. Simply amazing!
I had performed countless tests previously but only utilized the first visible crescent with no success. I had tried to place her in the correct position to fulfill what it says in Revelation 12:1. As I discovered, the only time the crescent is near her feet is in the Autumn. At that time of year, Bethulah/Virgo is upside down, diving headfirst into the dark depths of the western horizon just before setting with the sun. The problem was that I had only been so focused on the crescent lunar phase as the New Moon and never on the full moon.
It is amazing how blind we can be when the answer has been there all along when Bethulah/Virgo is upright on the eastern horizon. It seems I should have easily discovered that there was a six-month difference from the crescent in the west at Bethulah’s feet to the full moon in the east at her feet. By extension, this would have correctly placed her in the east, where she belonged, to commence the YEAR and RULE all night. Only the full moon visibly rules the entire night. But I had been utterly blind to it. I had been under the stronghold of Ellen White, but now I could see. HalleluYAH!!!
It is remembering times like this that helps me empathize with others who are also blind to the truth. But just as I was rescued from my blindness, He has the same power to rescue others who must be willing to reexamine their own hearts and be willing to lay every previous doctrinal belief upon the altar of sacrifice. Without doing this, no one will discover the narrow path of the way, truth, or life.
As a second witness among many verses provided, a dark conjunction lunar phase was identified to occur in the middle of the lunar month, on Passover, the 14th of Abib/Aviv, on the day of Yahusha haMashiach’s (Messiah’s) crucifixion. Luke portrayed it like this, “the sun was darkened from the sixth to the ninth hour.” Ironically, a similar explanation has been historically given for all previous solar eclipses. So, by extension, with a solar eclipse occurring on the 14th day of the first lunar month in spring, it means that fourteen days and one night previous to that most epic day when our Messiah laid down His life for you and me, the moon was FULL at the START OF THE MONTH.
This was earth-shattering evidence and foundational truth that the full moon was the original and authentic Start of the Lunar Month (full New Moon) of our Creator and Messiah. It could not be comprehended as long as I utilized a solar calendar or one of the long-held traditional yet errant New Moon lunar phases, as these had all been altered at some point in history. This was the evidence that truly made all the difference. And it was there all along. What a compassionate Messiah we serve. The Sun was Darkened from the Sixth to the Ninth Hour.
That week of miraculous revelations changed my life. It brought harmony to all I was learning and expanded on MY DREAM that I had so long ago as a 13-year-old youth regarding the sun, moon, and stars. My Dream and Journey.
Immediately, I informed everyone that I was changing from following the first visible crescent New Moon to that of the full moon (Start of Lunar Months or Renewed Moon) for the start of Years and Months, as it alone carried the weight of evidence. Every article on my website had to be rewritten to reflect the stunning new LIGHT OF TRUTH. Only a handful continued with me on my journey at that point. But I was no longer bound by popular opinion but by YAHUAH’s GLORIOUS TRUTHS THAT SET ME FREE. From the moment I accepted the full moon as the start of Years, Months, lunar Weeks, and the count of Days, I have never looked back or wavered. The evidence was conclusive. I believe because of this, YAHUAH Alahim, the Most High, has blessed and continued to provide more and more evidence as revealed from the pages of Scripture, history, and astronomy. If not, the very stones would cry out because NOW He is calling His sleeping Bride to AWAKEN in preparation for His soon RETURN. HalleluYAH!!!
By sharing my own story, it is important to me that you recognize YAHUAH Alahim working through His Son, YAHUSHA ha Mashiach, as they are alive and well and very present in the lives of us otherwise hopeless humans. He seeks to lead us and restore His end-times truths now more than ever before as we are willing to be led. And He continues to have compassion upon us and our weaknesses, and when we are under the enemy’s stronghold, He strives with us to bring us to a place where the scales may fall from our eyes, that we may see. May we strive to honor both Father and Son by synchronizing our soul temples with them and celebrating these timeless Feast Days according to His preordained time-measuring model now and forever!!!
