Restored Prophetic Feast Days
of Yahusha the Messiah

W Whether Feast keeping is already familiar or a new concept for you, it is the objective of this article and website to remove the nearly 2,000-year-old censure. The gathered evidence reveals that the anathema against all the original set apart Holy Feast days, New Moons, and Sabbaths, as outlined in the Torah Law, was orchestrated in the 4th century C.E. by Roman Emperor Constantine for His newly instituted Christian religion and accompanied solar calendar. While this may seem incredulous, the popular view that celebrating the Biblical Feast Days was done away with at the crucifixion of our Messiah is completely false. Rather, the Feast Days were proactively undermined by the Roman Emperors and their solar calendar invention of A.D. 325, with its continuous week format that cycles without end. This diabolical solar week cycle was designed to disrupt Scripture’s sacred lunar calendar and, by extension, make it impossible to locate the Feast Days of Yahuah Alahim and Yahusha, our Messiah. 

Placing the Scriptural lunar Feast Days upon the modern Roman solar calendar is impossible.  This new time-keeping arrangement, forced upon the Jews when in captivity, continues to be obediently adhered to by the Roman Catholic Church as well as all of their daughters (protestant churches) and then sold to the entire WORLD. As a result, the path of least resistance has been to eliminate the value and importance of the Kadosh/Holy Feast Days because, like oil and water that never mix, the Roman solar calendar year, month, week, and day can never be synchronized with the sacred lunar appointed Feast Days of Scripture.

 

Two Feast Day Formats

This article will compare two Feast Day arrangements: the Feasts according to the Leviticus 23 model and, in contrast, the long-lost Feast Day order according to the Leviticus 24 model, with its lunar phases as presented and demonstrated upon the Menorah.

It is the view of this website that this long-hidden lunar phase arrangement on the Menorah is the original and authentic Feast Day arrangement and BLUEPRINT OF SALVATION by way of the PROPHETIC LUNAR DATE ARRANGEMENT from the fall of Eden to the restoration of the Earth at the end of the week of 7,000 years (seven millenniums). Each portion of this lunar Menorah layout is born of love and is prophetically date stamped with the duet of TIME and EVENT and solely accomplished by Yahusha, our Messiah, first on earth with Passover and then in the heavenly courts above on behalf of sinners like you and me. 

Unequivocally, the Feast Day protocol is salvation’s mechanism for restoring mankind back to the Eternal Father. As a result, it is the revealed REMEDY for SIN! Is it any wonder that humanity’s most marvelous and beneficent system of Divine intervention has been annulled and relinquished to the trash bin by those very ones who were entrusted to guard and protect it? 

This alternate view of the Feast Day TIMING and its application to each ordained Messiah EVENT is aimed at restoring what has been purposely hidden from view over the years by both sects of Jews and Roman Emperors and maintained by the guardians of the lie. 

Traditional Levitical Feast Days

Below is the line-up and date position of each of the traditional Feast Days as described in Leviticus 23:1-44.  This is the layout that most of us are familiar with. The Rabbinical Jews continue to measure their lunar Feast Days from the dark conjunction as the New Moon in spring nearest the Vernal Equinox (before or after). In contrast, the Karaite Jews measure their lunar Feast Days from the first visible crescent after the Vernal Equinox. This disparity can cause them to celebrate Feast Days 29-30 days apart in any given year.

In this article, all mention of the New Moon will be about the original and authentic full moon for the start of lunar months as was ordained at creation. Leviticus 23 Feast Day Layout

1. Feast of Passover (Pasch)
   The 14th day as counted from the full New Moon of the First Month of Aviv (Nisan), which coincides with the dark conjunction lunar phase.  Also the sixth day of the lunar week. Traditionally, this is the first Feast Day of the Year.

2. Feast of Unleavened Bread (Matzah)
   The 15th day from the full New Moon of the First Month of Aviv, and the day after Passover.  This is a seven day Feast that commences on a seventh-day lunar Sabbath.

3. Feast of Wave Sheaf Offering (Raysheet)
   The 16th day from the full New Moon of the First Month of Aviv and always on the first day of the lunar week cycle.

4. Feast of Weeks/Pentecost (Shabuot)
   This traditional view is the 50 day count from the 16th day of the First Month, falling on the 9th day of the Third Month of Sivan, and the 1st day of the lunar week.

5. Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah)
   This Feast Day occurs on the 1st day of the Seventh Month of Ethanim, and always on the full New Moon Day.

6. Feast Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur)
   The 10th day of the Seventh Month of Ethanim, as counted from the full New Moon, and the second day of the lunar week.

7. Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot)
   The 15th day of the Seventh Month of Ethanim, and always on a seventh-day Sabbath counted from the New Moon.  This is the last of seven Feast Days. 
   

While this Feast Day layout is recorded in Leviticus 23, Numbers 28-29, and Deuteronomy 16, there is compelling evidence for an alternate order and layout. Both the Romans and the Rabbinical Pharisee Yahudim (Jews) were supremely motivated for separate reasons to have these changed. (“…Will seek to change times and laws.” Daniel 7:25). You do not have to believe me, but please consider the evidence. Each person must follow the leading of the Ruach ha Kadosh (Holy Spirit) on this subject. You are not required to keep the Menorah Feast Days described below to be a lunar Sabbatarian.  This is why I have consistently posted both views on all the calendars for the last 12 years.  

Restored Prophetic Feast Days Displayed on the Menorah 

With great surprise, it has been discovered that some of the Feast Days may have been manipulated over the years, but not all, as listed in Leviticus. It appears they have been proactively moved to dates that don’t actually fit the narrative of the Sanctuary/Temple/Menorah model and are, therefore, incorrect. If this is true, it causes all the righteous seekers of truth to miss the true Feast Day road map of the Messiah’s ministry of prophetic events with their targeted prophetic fulfillments. By extension, if these Feast days are either out of sequence or no longer synchronized to the temple time model above, not made with hands, we may be out of harmony with our Messiah as we seek to follow Him (the Lamb) whithersoever He goes. 

Certainly, this is a bold statement to challenge the written text of Leviticus 23. Please know that there is no interest in changing the TRUTH, but only in restoring it like Nehemiah restored the walls of Jerusalem after Yasharal’s (Israel’s) long years in Babylon.

Some may even consider this blasphemy, which is understandable given the unrelenting propaganda and paradigm conditioning we have all received over the years.  All of it was aimed at causing us to believe that there are NO errors or changes in the Scriptures but that it stands as an unadulterated, pure, and perfect transcript of the Eternal Father.  So when we come to the fork in the road, why would we choose the road less traveled?  IT CAN ONLY BE BECAUSE OF THE EVIDENCE AND A DESIRE TO RESTORE TRUTH IN PREPARATION FOR OUR MESSIAH’S IMMINENT RETURN! 

MOST IMPORTANTLY, OUR ETERNAL FATHER DID NOT LEAVE US WITHOUT A COMPASS.  HE PROVIDED A GOLD STANDARD OF TRUTH TO COMPARE EACH LUNAR FEAST DAY APPOINTMENT.  THIS GOLD STANDARD WAS PRESERVED “FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS” SO THAT WE MAY SEEK, FIND, AND RESOLVE THIS LONG-HIDDEN “MYSTERY” OF THE LAST 1,700 YEARS.

The Gold Standard

Notice that this important Scripture passage is all about putting the Menorah luminaries (lights) in the correct order of their LUNAR layout during the night season from sunset to sunrise.  This means the Menorah is ordered according to the ruling moon when the sun is absent. 

The full moon is the only lunar phase that qualifies for this task. It rules the entire night from east to west as the most brilliant lunar phase beacon in the night sky.  All the other lunar phases follow in succession as they decrease and then rebuild with light to complete a 29 or 30-day lunar month.  Refer to the article Treasury of Evidence, the Full Moon Announces Lunar Months.

From the East unto the West

The evidence and confirmation can only be found and realized as the Sanctuary/Temple orientation of east to west aligns with the positioning of the Menorah (seven lamp candlestick) in which three branches reached eastward and three westward. While the modern world orients a map to the north, Yahuah Alahim, the Eternal Father, consistently oriented all His Kadosh (sacred and holy) things to the EAST.

The Hebrew definition of EAST is (east – kedem/qedem – קדם –  the front; what comes before; beginning). Therefore, all of Scripture’s time units are measured upon the east-west time continuum, as beaconed by the rising sun by day and the full moon together with the stars by night, as they visibly take their turns to rule in the shamayim (heavens).  As a result, all accurate worship of Yahuah is based upon this consistent Kadosh (sacred) east-to-west model, including His ordained full New Moon for the start of years, months, count to weeks, and days.  Refer to the article “The East-West Time Continuum.”

The Menorah-Oriented East-West Time Continuum

The Menorah was strategically placed along the southern wall of the first apartment of the Sanctuary/Temple, where it represented the East-West Time Continuum. This accurate time-measuring model produces three specific and separate yet fixed lunar phases against the backdrop of the starry constellations. The Menorah was designed to illustrate the MOON’S LIGHT AS SEEN FROM EARTH. It has been discovered that the MENORAH IS THE UNADULTERATED KEY to Scripture’s treasure map of TIME, if you will. 

The Menorah contains the long-lost TRUTH necessary to restore Yahuah’s sacred worship schedule. But most profoundly, the correct timing of the Feast Days in correlation with the Menorah actually pinpointed with precision the exact time of the year these sacred and prophetic appointments unto salvation were scheduled to be fulfilled. Each sacred Feast Day signifies an invitation to enter, both temporal and eternal, for celebrating in unison. All this is necessary for those who seek Him with all their hearts and desires to be prepared for the epic event of their Messiah’s Second Coming. 

So it is that by design, every year, YAHUAH’S obedient followers are to rehearse salvation’s inspirational storyline, celebrating our Messiah’s provisions that have already been accomplished for us and those still yet to be fulfilled.  In synchronizing our soul temples to the rhythm of these prophetic lunar-appointed Feast Day Events, we show that we are His faithful and obedient Yasharal (Israel). 

Entering at the East Gate

Please note that all the Menorah images in this article will illustrate the east on the left and the west on the right. This is because it is the Scriptural standard and the only view humanity has ever witnessed of the Menorah. This arrangement begins when we first enter at the east gate of the Sanctuary/Temple outer court. Then, upon entering the first apartment, we find the Menorah, which is located to our left along the southern wall.  The Menorah is only ever viewed from this vantage point, as shown below.

As we discover the following renewed view of the Feast Day arrangement according to the Menorah, I want to share additional thoughts. In the image above, we find the curtain surrounding the entire wilderness sanctuary’s outer courtyard, illustrating the encompassing path of the moon in pure white linen. Years later, the stone wall of the temple’s outer court was to symbolize the same. It demonstrates the traversing of the moon for one complete lunar month, from one full New Moon rising in the east to another. The door opening in the outer curtain or wall is the East Gate.  It is open for worship only on the New Moon and Sabbath days (Ezekiel 46:1, 3). The full moon is the only lunar phase that rises in the east opposite the sun.  

The East-West Time Continuum

Only on the night of the full moon will its light rise in the east and shine unto the west, announcing that New Moon Day will begin at sunrise the next morning, concurrent with the East Gate being opened for worship. Thus, the 29-30 day count is started as if following the curtain around the entire courtyard and back to the East Gate to commence a new lunar month. Each full New Moon and the stars by night mark a new lunar month.

From the testimony of the linen curtain, the following can be established:

1) The first day of the Year in the eastern constellation Bethulah (Virgo);

2) The first day of the lunar month in its new constellation; 

3) The count to the four Sabbaths; and

4) The count to each Feast Day date. Scripture reveals that all are marked or counted from each full New Moon as it rises in the east.  

The Symbolic Full Moon Headdress of the Priests

In addition to the outer wall or linen curtain, consider the headdress of the Kohen (priests).  It is round, spherical, and entirely white, precisely like the full moon.  Yet, is this a mere coincidence, or can such a custom be found among other contemporary religions at the time who also wore the celestial sign of their god on their heads?

Compare the images below along with the verses. Indeed, it was customary for the priests of other religious factions to wear the sign of their New Moon on their heads.  The Levitical Priests of Yahuah, the Most High, were unique in that their headdresses depicted a full moon in opposition to the crescent counterfeits of the surrounding pagan nations. 

The Menorah’s Gold Standard Feast Day Appointments

The current belief of this website is that the MENORAH (seven-branched candlestick) was ordained to maintain the GOLD STANDARD of the authentic prophetic lunar appointed placement of the FEAST DAYS upon the earth.  These fixed appointed Feast Days are PROPHETIC in nature because they reveal salvation’s restorative work of YAHUSHA haMashiach alone on behalf of mankind. These must align with the very throne room of our Creator, the Eternal FATHER OF LIGHTS (YAHcob (James) 1:17. It appears that in YAHUAH’s foreknowledge, He knew that these were to be the target of the enemy and his minions to destroy the Salvation’s time-centric protocol determined for YAHUAH Alahim’s faithful. (Daniel 7:25).

Following the chapter on the Feast Days in Leviticus 23 is Leviticus 24. Here, it becomes evident that the Menorah was to stand in the temple as a witness to the Creator’s original calendar standard and its prophetic promise of salvation to all who seek it.  So it appears that no matter how the “lying pens of Rabbinical Pharisees and their Scribes” (Jeremiah 8:8-9) would change the Leviticus 23 text and the scattered support verses throughout Scripture, the Menorah standard could not be changed, and was in its very design, ordained to stand the test of time.  Only one layout of Feast Days can be harmonized with the Menorah gold standard. 

The Menorah was to be of one hammered piece of gold. Meaning that its branches were stationary (fixed) and did not move to new positions around its shaft as many desktop orreries do today.  It was to follow the model presented by YAHUAH Alahim to Moses on the Mount. So, it appears that the Menorah copy was patterned after the layout of the lunar phases’ original time sequence as they were seen from Earth.  It was designed to be a perfect match, and nothing else in the shamayim (heavens) utilized for time can be made to fit. “Their knobs and their branches shall be of one piece; all of it shall be one hammered piece of pure gold.” Exodus 25:36 NKJV

 

“And see to it that you make it according to the pattern [model], which was shown you on the mountain.” Exodus 25:40 NKJV

The Menorah was to illustrate the full New Moon rising in the East and, fifteen days later, the dark conjunction lunar phases in the West on its six immovable and stationary branches. These stable six branches illustrate lunar phases that are in a perfect SYZYGY alignment with the earth and sun.  Only these lunar phases on the six branches can produce either a lunar eclipse when they are full and in opposition to the sun, as positioned on the east branches, or when at the mid-month conjunction, they can create a solar eclipse, as positioned on the western three branches. 

To the east, the first branch of the Menorah exhibits the full moon as Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day in the spring). This is the very important start of the year when the moon rules the shamayim (heavens) for the entire night nearest the feet of the constellation Bethulah (Virgo). The full New Moon in its pre-appointed lunar months highlights two other Feast Days. In contrast, on the West side of the Menorah, three Feast Days are highlighted mid-month by the dark conjunction lunar phase by day.  The first of these is Passover. Luke describes that a lengthy solar eclipse occurred on the day of the crucifixion from the sixth to the ninth hour. (Luke 23:44-45). Let it not be lost on the reader that throughout these Menorah restored Feast Days, each one coincides with the date of the lunar month (counted from full New Moon Day) and the day of the lunar week when not occurring on a New Moon day. These dual assignments work together as a GPS to pinpoint each Feast Day with precision and ultimately announce that our Creator’s months are lunar, along with His weeks and Sabbaths. 

Rosh Hashanah Alteration

Today, the modern Yahudim (Jews) have moved Rosh Hashanah to the fall, marking it as their New Year’s Day on the first day of the Seventh Month.  This arrangement causes their New Year celebration (Rosh Hashanah) to be six months late. When questioned, Sarah Devolt, Professor of Hebrew at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, confirms that in ancient times, Rosh Hashanah marked the beginning of spring and not fall, as defined in Exodus 12:1-3.

Because it has been discovered that the Jews, before the 4th century A.D., commenced their day at sunrise, each of the Feast Day events is also measured from sunrise to sunrise, with the night following the daylight. Passover occurs consistently on the 14th day, between the evenings, as counted from the first New Moon Day of Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day) in the spring.  According to this Menorah standard, the Levitical “Unleavened Bread and Wave Sheaf” does not have a unique and separate Feast Day designation on the Menorah. Instead, these are combined under the heading of the seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread event that follows the next day after Passover. 

We continue to believe the 15th of Aviv/Abib marks the first day of Unleavened Bread, and the 16th is the day of the Wave Sheaf Offering. Our Messiah’s resurrection appears during the last watch of the night of the 16th, which follows the day of the 16th. Refer to the article, Three Days and Three Nights. 

To our surprise, the Feast of New Year’s Day (Rosh Hashanah) does have a time–centric designation in the primary first position of Aviv 1, defining the commencement layout of all the set-apart Feast Days. It symbolizes New Year’s Day and the commencement of the order of the Feast Days annually. It also is a memorial of creation, the beginning of all things on earth before the fall and sin in Eden when things remained in their perfection as designed to be.  Start of the Year Rules Establish Rosh Hashanah.

The Menorah Orrery

It has been discovered that the Menorah is an Orrery, the first recorded planetarium constructed upon the earth by Moses and his workers of gold, according to the specifications shown to him on the mount by the Eternal Yahuah. This illustrates the positions of the moon in its specific lunar phases from the perspective of the Earth and depicts specific lunar calendar dates. The Menorah was placed in the first apartment of the Temple, where it was cared for by the Levitical Kohens to ensure its seven lamps would never be extinguished. While some have, over the past 1,700 years, speculated with regard to this Orrery evidence, the only records available theorize it to be based upon the sun and six other planets. However, we have conclusive evidence that testifies that rather than the sun and planets, the Menorah is based entirely upon specific positions of the moon as it relates to the Earth and then only viewed from the Earth’s vantage point.

The six symbolic arms and even the center, which makes seven on this Menorah Orrery, are complete with a luminary at their ends, which in all six and even the center position represents only the moon and its specific positional lunar phase.

 

1. The New Year commences with the full moon rising in the east establishing Rosh Hashanah.
2. The Menorah represents and measures the time allotted for mankind upon earth from the first day of creation to the second coming. But it also extends for the 1,000 year Sabbath in heaven until the the earth is restored and the righteous saved of mankind are returned to the earthly home (Yom Shimini) to dwell in peace under the reign of their YAHUSHA haMashiach as KING OF KINGS. 
3. The Menorah marks the commencement of each year at the time the full New Moon rises in the East in the constellation Bethulah (Virgo).  Revelation 12:1
4. The Menorah pinpoints the precise day of the lunar month for each of our Creator’s true ordained Feast Days to be fulfilled by YAHUSHA haMashiach (the Messiah) alone. Three occur on a full moon day, three on a dark conjunction lunar phase, and the one in the center appears to occur on the third quarter lunar position prior to full moon (The Last Great Day – Yom Shimini).
5. THE MENORAH ALONE IS THE GOLD STANDARD that bears testimony of the Creator’s Calendar, and His TIMEPIECE in the heavens.  It CHANGES NOT, for each branch is FIXED and cannot be moved.
6. The placement of each ordained Feast Day is illustrated in the image above and below.

The Candlestick arms with their luminaries are permanently FIXED IN TIME to the coordinates of East and West, rigidly stationary and immovable. As a result, this identifies three full moon lunar phases to the east in opposition to the sun at sunset, as represented on the east side of the Menorah. On the west side, there are three dark lunar phases in the position of conjunction with the sun, as represented on the west side of the Menorah.  The center flame symbolizes the last Feast of the Year and is represented by the third quarter lunar phase, counted from the full moon as the New Moon.

The evidence defines that each of Yahuah’s authentic and ordained Feast Days has a specific designation on the Menorah that can NEVER VARY, NOR PATTERN ALTERNATE, EVER!

1. The first obvious difference is that Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day in spring) is identified as the first of all the Feast Days according to the Menorah.  Rosh Hashanah commemorates more than just the start of the year (Exodus 12:1-4) but also the beginning of time on Earth, as noted in Genesis 1:1: “In the Beginning.” It provides the starting point for the Feast Day count. Rosh Hashanah occurs on the full moon fourteen days before Passover’s dark conjunction lunar phase. It reveals an obvious calendar alteration in Leviticus 23. History reveals that the Jews moved Rosh Hashanah to the fall. Next, both Leviticus 23 and the Menorah identify the Feast Days being arranged on a lunar calendar through the term (H#2320 – chodesh- a lunar month or the first day of the lunar month). Many don’t recognize the lunar month aspect because this word is translated incorrectly as a mere “month.”  Last but not least, the full moon has been discovered to be the original and authentic start of lunar months. 2. PASSOVER (Pasch) is discovered to be the second Feast celebration of each year. It always begins on the 14th of the first lunar month of Abib/Nissan, as counted from Rosh Hashanah in spring (Exodus 12:1-6). The following day, the 15th, is always the seventh-day Sabbath.  This is the first day of the seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread that includes 1) the High Sabbath on the First day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread (the 15th), 2) the Wave Sheaf Offering (the 16th), and 3) the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost on the last day (the 21st). These are noted in the chart above as (ULB, WS & FOW). You will find a subheading below on the Placement of Feast of Weeks (Pentecost/Shabuoth) with more details. The first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread represents our Messiah, as the perfect, sinless bread of life, provided in His sacrificial death to sustain mankind for 6,000 years on Earth. The Wave Sheaf Offering represents our Messiah’s resurrection from the grave to everlasting life so that we may have this hope. Refer to All Things Passover.
3. Our Messiah’s Birthday is discovered to be essential to the prophetic layout of the Feast Days.  He cannot die for our sins before He comes to Earth and lives as a man. His birthday separates Yahusha haMashiach from the impostors. According to the lunar calendar model, only one Messiah was born and died, fulfilling the Bible’s lunar appointed Feast Day prophecies.  Refer to the article Our Messiah’s True Prophetic Birthday.
4. Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) represents the close of probation of the living prior to the Return of the Messiah.  It is the time when the Righteous living are Sealed. Here is what Revelation 22:10-12 says:  “And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is at hand. He who is unjust, let him be unjust still; he who is filthy, let him be filthy still; he who is righteous, let him be righteous still; he who is holy, let him be holy still.” And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to everyone according to his work.” Some today believe this has already been fulfilled, but it will occur two weeks before the Messiah’s Return. These two weeks are explained in Revelation 8:1: “When He opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.”  1) A day equals a year in Bible prophecy. 2) There are twelve hours in a day and twelve regular months in a lunar year. 3) The space of half an hour would then equal half of a lunar month, a total of two weeks. This is the exact span between this Day of Atonement and the Feast of Trumpets. 
5. Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) is consistently the fifth Feast Day in both layouts. Yet, there are two major differences: 1) The Menorah Gold Standard places the Feast of Trumpets on the full moon and not the dark conjunction or crescent as has been made popular by the two Jewish factions. 2) This Feast day celebrated with the trumpets represents the Messiah’s Second Coming, returning for His faithful followers. Remember the words of hope He gave to His disciples on the day of His ascension:  “Let not your hearts be troubled, you believe in Yahuah, believe also in Me.  In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you.  I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you unto myself; that is where I am, and you will be also.”  John 14:1-3   The Jews claim the Messiah never came and therefore don’t believe what is written here in John 14. 
6. The Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) is the sixth Feast. It is a seven-day Feast beginning on the day of a dark conjunction. As stated in the chart above, it represents the saved of Earth entering the Holy City, the New Yarushalom (Jerusalem), a temporary dwelling where they will spend the 1,000-year Sabbath Rest with their Savior. 7. Yom Shimini (the Eighth Day, the Last Great Day) is the only Feast Day occurring on a lunar phase different than the full moon or dark conjunction. This is the last quarter phase, dated the 22nd, counted from the full moon, which consistently occurs on the seventh-day Sabbath. It is this Feast Day that represents the great day when the Earth will be restored to its former glory, and the Holy City, with the saved, will come down from heaven as a bride adorned for her husband. It is where Yahusha, the Messiah, will reign as King of Kings for all eternity.  “And He shall reign FOREVER and EVER!”  Yom Shemini and How to Celebrate it. 

 

“Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth,
for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.
Also, there was no more sea.
Then I, John, saw the holy city,
New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from Yahuah Alahim,
prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying,
“Behold, the tabernacle of  Yahuah Alahim is with men,
and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people.
Yahuah Himself will be with them and be their Alahim.
And Alahim will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain,
for the former things have passed away.”
Then He who sat on the throne said,
“Behold, I make all things new.” And He said to me,
“Write, for these words are true and faithful.”

I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End.

Placement of Pentecost / Feast of Shabuoth / Feast of Weeks

Surprising as it may be to some, the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost appears to occur on the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the day marked as sacred before the seventh-day Sabbath (Leviticus 23:8). This is the sixth day of the lunar week but the FIFTH day after the resurrection. After all, pente means “five,” not fifty, as we were led to believe. As it turns out, pentekonta (G# 4004) means fifty. Compare the term pente to Pentecost.

The greatest evidence for placing the Feast of Weeks (Pentecost/Shabuot) and its count comes from the following two verses in Exodus 23:16 and Exodus 34:22. Both of these identify two harvests of the year and not three. 

“And the Feast of Harvest: 1) the First Fruits [in the spring on the 16th of the first lunar month also called the Wave Sheaf Offering] of thy labors, which thou hast sown in the field, 2) and the Feast of Ingathering [harvest of the first day of 7th lunar month], which is in the end of the year, when thou hast gathered in thy labors out of the field.” Exodus 23:15-16

 

“And thou shalt observe the Feast of Weeks of the First Fruits of wheat  [barley] harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the year’s end.”  Exodus 34:22 

Assembling Two or Three Times Per Year?

Notice that Feast of Weeks is only connected to the spring First Fruits offering. This is a count of nearly three weeks from Rosh Hashanah to the last day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. Both verses identify the First Fruits of the field as the first harvest of the year (in spring) and the Feast of Ingathering at the end of the year (in fall) as the last harvest. This means the Hebrew men are to appear in Jerusalem instead of three only twice a year. Yet, is there more evidence? 

Although Leviticus 23:15 states to count seven Sabbaths, for some, verse 16 adds seven additional Sabbaths, totaling not just 50 days but 99. Now, it appears that both views may have been doctored or even added by motivated Jews to corrupt the Feast of Weeks/Pentecost’s intended meaning so folks would not discover how it related to the week of the Messiah’s death and resurrection week. I say this because all the evidence on this subject must be harmonized with the storyline of the First and Second Coming of the Messiah, which is and remains the preeminent focal point of the Feast Day arrangement, whether on the Menorah or not.

The Last Day of Unleavened Bread

Keep the Feast of Unleavened Bread for seven days, symbolizing the putting away of sin and the promise of restoration during the seventh millennium (millennial Sabbath) spent in the New Yarushalom in heaven.  The first day of Unleavened Bread is a High day because it is both a Feast Day and a Seventh-day Sabbath.  The last day of this seven-day Feast is also defined as a Holy Convocation Sabbath, although not the seventh-day Sabbath.  So, it seems fitting that it may have always been designated for the day Feast of Weeks/Pentecost to be celebrated. 

It fits the instructions given to the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they receive the Ruach, but not for forty or fifty days. Also, because 3,000 men from other nations were present for the Feast Days, Pentecost appears to have needed to occur during this Passover week. This is the only arrangement that provides a reason for celebrating the seventh day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread on the 21^st, the day before the seventh-day Sabbath. This arrangement would necessitate the Messiah’s ascension to occur a day or two before.

Consider that the Romans wanted nothing to do with the Torah Law’s Feast Days, New Moon Days, or seventh-day Sabbaths providing motivation for causing it to appear through the “lying pen of Scribes” that Pentecost occurred 50 days or more after the Resurrection of our Messiah. If so, this causes it to lose its placement in the seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread ordered line-up. Add to this the account of Paul’s lengthy journey to get back to Jerusalem in time to celebrate Pentecost (Acts 20). Could this be a cover-up by the Romans to hide that they had changed the placement of Pentecost???  This view is not in stone as of yet. Still seeking the correct placement of Shabuot (Feast of Weeks/Pentecost).

What About the Early and Later Rain?

Add to this the two-part early and late rain. Again, the conflict appears to be a question of whether there are two times a year for the males to appear in Jerusalem or three. Only one option is the correct one. The Menorah’s role is to shine its light in the darkness, revealing morsels of truth that have been long hidden. 

The Menorah’s Feast Day Treasure Map

Just as a treasure map guides us to the treasure, only the Menorah Feast Day layout will guide YAHUSHA haMashiach’s (the Messiah’s) true followers on the right path of truth. It illustrates the journey, the obstacles, where to turn, where to look, and where the treasure is. This brings peace and assurance during the onslaught of difficult times ahead.

At the end of the day, be easy on yourself as you digest this new material. Sometimes, it is necessary to put it on the shelf of your mind while you contemplate it and pray that the Ruach guides you to fully know the truth. I encourage you to keep the Feast Days according to your conscience with an open heart for new revelations. 

The Feast Day protocol is unequivocally the Plan of Salvation’s mechanism for restoring mankind to the Eternal Father.

This is what Scripture has to say on the subject:

  “I counsel you to buy redeem (G#58 – redeem) from Me gold refined in the fire, that you may be rich abounding in virtues (G#4147 – virtue); and white garments, that you may be clothed, that the shame of your nakedness may not be revealed; and anoint your eyes with eye salve, that you may see.

  As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten. Therefore be zealous and repent.

  Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door [East Gate], I will come into him and dine  [in Feast Days and Sabbaths] with him, and he with Me.

  To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

 He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit  Ruach (power, presence and provision of Yahuah) says to the churches called out ones (G#1577 – ekkesia).’ ”  Revelation 3:18-22

Scripture’s Conflicting Placement for Feast of Tabernacles

The following two passages from the books of Ezra and Nehemiah provide two witnesses that the fall Feast of Tabernacles may have at one time commenced upon the New Moon Day of the Seventh Month. These two books are in harmony with each other and yet conflict with Leviticus 23:33-36. So the question is, which is correct, the 1st day or the 15th day of the lunar month?

At the very least, this is ample evidence that Scripture has some conflicting passages and that the Feast placements have been manipulated. It also provides evidence and supports the necessity for the Menorah as Yahuah’s Gold Standard of Time and Feast Days.

Book of Ezra

Ezra 3:1 And when the seventh month was come, and the children of Israel were in the cities, the people gathered themselves together as one man to Jerusalem.

Ezra 3:2 Then stood up Yahusha the son of Yazadak, and his brethren the priests, and Zerubbabel the son of Shealtiel, and his brethren, and builded the altar of Alahim of Israel, to offer burnt offerings thereon, as it is written in the law of Moses the man of Alahim.

Ezra 3:3 And they set the altar upon his bases; for fear was upon them because of the people of those countries: and they offered burnt offerings thereon unto Yahuah, even burnt offerings morning and evening.

Ezra 3:4 They kept also the feast of tabernacles, as it is written, and offered the daily burnt offerings by number, according to the custom, as the duty of every day required;

Ezra 3:5 And afterward offered the continual burnt offering, both for the new moons, and for all the set feasts of Yahuah that were consecrated, and of every one that willingly offered a freewill offering unto Yahuah.

Ezra 3:6 From the first day of the seventh month they began to offer burnt offerings unto Yahuah. But the foundation of the temple of Yahuah was not yet laid.

Book of Nehemiah

Neh 8:1 And all the people gathered themselves together as one man into the street that was before the water gate; and they spake unto Ezra the scribe to bring the book of the law of Moses, which Yahuah had commanded to Israel.

Neh 8:2 And Ezra the priest brought the Torah before the congregation both of men and women, and all that could hear with understanding, upon the first day of the seventh month.

Neh 8:3 And he read therein before the street that was before the water gate from the morning until midday, before the men and the women, and those that could understand; and the ears of all the people were attentive unto the book of the Torah.

Neh 8:4 And Ezra the scribe stood upon a pulpit of wood, which they had made for the purpose; and beside him stood Mattithiah, and Shema, and Anaiah, and Urijah, and Hilkiah, and Maaseiah, on his right hand; and on his left hand, Pedaiah, and Mishael, and Malchiah, and Hashum, and Hashbadana, Zechariah, and Meshullam.

Neh 8:5 And Ezra opened the book in the sight of all the people; (for he was above all the people;) and when he opened it, all the people stood up:

Neh 8:6 And Ezra blessed Yahuah, the great Alahim. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshiped Yahuah with their faces to the ground.

Neh 8:7 Also Yahusha, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the Torah: and the people stood in their place.

Neh 8:8 So they read in the book in the Torah of Alahim distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.

Neh 8:9 And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is sacred unto Yahuah your Alahim; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the Torah.

Neh 8:10 Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is sacred unto Yahuah: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of Yahuah is your strength.

Neh 8:11 So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is sacred; neither be ye grieved.

Neh 8:12 And all the people went their way to eat, and to drink, and to send portions, and to make great mirth, because they had understood the words that were declared unto them.

Neh 8:13 And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the Torah.

Neh 8:14 And they found written in the Torah, which Yahuah had commanded by Moses, that the children of Israel should dwell in booths in the feast of the seventh month:

Neh 8:15 And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

Neh 8:16 So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

Neh 8:17 And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Yahusha (Joshua) the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

Neh 8:18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the Torah of Elohim. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.
