Each New Year in spring, brings with it a refreshing by way of a new lunar month, and the renewal that comes with the Kadosh (sacred) appointed Feast Days of Passover, Unleavened Bread, and the Wave Sheaf Offering. For these Feast Days were divinely ordained to change us from within via the time-centric work of the Messiah in restoring us back to the Eternal Father.

But this can only be accomplished through our willingness to obediently respond by actively observing His prophetic set-apart days according to the original principles of His celestial timepiece. Anything short of this design falls outside the pale of His will and truth.

Feasts of Yahuah 

The foundational premise of all the Kadosh (holy) lunar appointed Feast Days is that they remain THE FEASTS OF YAHUAH ALAHIM (Leviticus 23:2), and DO NOT belong to ancient Yasharal (Israel) alone; to the Rabbinical Pharisee Jews that they may be changed; nor are they the property of the Christians that they might be wholly annulled. Rather, they have been bequeathed to all created beings upon planet earth as sacred rehearsals of prophetic events to be fulfilled at their preset lunar appointed times by the Messiah alone, in His temple not made with human hands.

But even then, those Feast Days that the Messiah has already fulfilled were designed to continue on as memorial celebrations even after His Second Coming and forever into the Eternal Kingdom beyond.  Evidence for this projection of keeping the Feast Days throughout eternity can be found in Matthew 26:29.  

But I say to you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.  MatithYahu (Matthew) 26:29

But what might be the purpose?  To celebrate and honor for all eternity our Messiah’s wondrous saving grace with the very same set of seven time-centric Kadosh (holy) day markers that were the time-centric mechanism He punctuated in the Plan of Salvation.

Invitation for All

Yahuah has invited all who seek oneness with Him to join in unison with the host of the shamayim (heaven) in praise and worship to honor Him by dutifully and joyfully celebrating Salvation’s prophetic mechanism to be completed by His Son, Yahusha the Messiah, on behalf of mankind, according to the rhythm of these preordained set-apart days (Matthew 22:1-14).

Passover the Sign and Seal of Yahuah

Many Sabbatarians teach as a fact that the Seal of Yahuah was unequivocally and solely the “Saturday” Sabbath, albeit the seventh day of the pagan Roman calendar. While it is correct that His seal profoundly includes the Sabbath, as it is part of the Ten Commandments contained in the Torah Law, Scripture emphatically declares exactly what has always been “THE SIGN.” While it began in Eden as the PROMISE, it is the sign of His true obedient followers throughout history who are covered by the blood of the Lamb in contrast to all those who are either ignorant, disobedient, or rebellious like those who in the future will receive the Mark of the Beast (Revelation 13:16).

It [Passover] shall be as a SIGN to you on your hand and as a memorial between your eyes that Yahuah’s Torah Law [of instruction] may be in your mouth; for with a strong hand Yahuah has brought you out of Egypt. You shall therefore keep this ordinance [Passover] in its season [#4150 mo’edah – specific lunar appointed date] from year to year. Exodus 13:9-10

His sign and seal “on your hand and memorial between your eyes” was divinely ordained to be PASSOVER.  This time-centric prophetic event has always been the sign of the true Messiah and deliverer since the first lamb sacrifice in the Garden of Eden.  It was renewed to Israel at the time of Moses, identifying all those who hear the voice of their Master and long for His forgiveness and coming restoration.  For more on the Passover in Eden, refer to the article, Passover’s Blood Stained Trail of Promise.

Who were the Quartodecimen?

The Quartodecimen (Fourteeners), the name dubbed by the Romans for the Natsarim (Nazarenes) of the first – fourth centuries A.D., are those who remained faithful to counting to Passover as the 14th day from the New Moon.  These were the only true and obedient followers of the Messiah left in Israel. 

In contrast to the Quartodecimen were the Roman factions of that day, who, in 325 A.D., began calling themselves Christians after their newly fabricated Christian religion that Constantine created that year to unite His kingdom.  Under the name “Iesus Christos” (known today as Jesus Christ), this new religion utterly stripped the promised Hebrew Messiah from all things relating to the ancient Hebrew paths, specifically the TORAH (Law), with its New Moons, lunar Sabbaths, and lunar Feast Days. It was Rome’s cleansing of sorts because of their hatred for the Rabbinical Pharisee Jews who had arisen to power among the captive Israelites, as presented in the Constantinian Creed. 

Renaming the Messiah

It was this Roman manufactured name “Iesus Christos” that was used to overwrite the true name of Yahusha ha Mashiach (the Messiah) upon the very pages of Scripture’s Brit Hadasha (NT) and cause His true name and Hebrew legacy to be lost from the masses among the rubble of deceit.  

It was only the Quartodecimen who remained obedient to their Hebrew Messiah’s crucifixion and resurrection by continuing to honor Him and the Torah Law by celebrating Passover according to the trinity of lights, the Creator’s celestial astro-lunar-solar timepiece. These obedient followers demonstrated their allegiance and submission to the Passover model as explained in Leviticus 23:4-8, Exodus 12:1-4, and 13:9-10 by counting to the 14^th day after the full New Moon just as did Moses, David, Isaiah, Daniel, Ezekiel, and all the prophets of Scripture. This kept them in step with each of the following successive lunar appointed Feast Days. But it also acted as a wall of protection from drifting into disobedience by way of adopting the pagan solar calendars that promoted holidays in honor of false gods that could not be harmonized with the astro-luni-solar calendar of Scripture.

The Great Easter Controversy

When the Easter controversy arose in the 2^nd – 4^th century A.D., promoted by the Roman Emperors, the religious elite, and finally Constantine, it was ingeniously designed to unite their entire kingdom under the jurisdiction of a single solar calendar model. However, this objective was cleverly hidden under the guise of celebrating Easter, their Passover replacement, together with the entire Roman Empire, and on the first SUNDAY after the full moon that followed the Vernal Equinox.

But the Quartodecimen (Fourteeners) were not impressed, nor were they even tempted to obey the Roman Emperors until their very lives were at stake. For they recognized that the Messiah’s preordained sacrifice only made sense as He fulfilled this Torah Feast Day prescription precisely on Passover, the 14^th day of Abib, as counted from the full New Moon closest to the feet of the constellation Bethulah (Virgo). For the promise from the beginning was that the Messiah was to be the LAMB slain, that the whole world, through humble confession and loving obedience, may one day be restored to the Father. Yet, changing the days of Passover and instituting a solar calendar model caused Passover to lose its time-centric significance as the greatest fulfillment of Prophecy to that time. 

Pagan Calendar Impostors

If it were discovered today that Yahusha, the Messiah, had actually died according to the Roman solar calendar and arose on Easter Sunday, it would be the surest sign that He was an impostor, after all.  Only the impostor, Jesus Christ, can fill those shoes. The Roman solar calendar model reflects the paganized time-measuring system, most of which did not exist in Israel until many years later.

Masterminded from the pit of hell and executed by the militant iron sword of Roman law, this new calendar ushered in the total collapse and eradication of the Creator’s divinely ordained celestial timepiece from the remembrance of the whole world. Through a period of over two hundred years of unrelenting persecution and bloodshed, both the Jews and the followers of the Messiah, the Natsarim (Quartodecimen), ultimately conceded to a new calendar. All were required to accept the continuous weekly cycle. As the Rabbinical Pharisees rose to power among the Jews, they changed the New Moon from the full moon to that of Babylon’s dark conjunction/crescent and, under pressure, adopted the Roman cycling week. Keeping Up Appearances

But you may ask— if their calendar changed, why do the Jews today continue their New Moon and lunar Feast traditions? 

The most prominent recorded fact that continues to be ignored is that on the day of the crucifixion of our Messiah, the sun was darkened from the sixth to the ninth hour (12:00-3:00 PM).  This was a divinely enhanced solar eclipse that occurred in the middle of the month on the 14th of Aviv. It is ignored because good yet, undiscerning folks believe they have only two options for celebrating their Messiah’s death and resurrection.  Such as the fraudulent Roman solar calendar and its Easter Sunday, or the dark conjunction or crescent New Moon calendars of the Rabbinical Pharisees or the Karaite Jews.

Strikingly, the facts reveal that none of these synchronize to that of our Creator’s Calendar ordained at creation.  The original yet, unpopular time-measuring model of the Tanach (OT) and Brit Hadasha (NT) for the start of YEARS has always been beaconed by the full moon as the true New Moon. It rises in the east together with the constellation Bethulah (Virgo) and is nearest her feet, whether mankind recognizes it or not.  Like oil and water, it can never be harmonized with either that of the Rabbinical Pharisees or solar calendar improvisations masterminded by the Romans.  Both are equally errant.

Satan’s Target was Worship Days

The true target of the enemy of souls was PROPHETIC TIME, as they are manifest by the full New Moon, the lunar Sabbath, and the correct dates of all the lunar appointed Feast Days.  If somehow this magnificent light display ordained by the Creator could be derailed in the minds of men, Satan Himself might manage to “sit on the mount of the congregation in the sides of the north (Isaiah 14:13).” 

In 353 A.D., under pressure from Rome and motivated to cast off the time-centric facts that had linked the Rabbinical Pharisee Jews to the death of Yahusha the Messiah, they changed all their units of time-measuring.  By so doing, they could simultaneously reject (deny) any time-centric indication that the Messiah even came at all and coincidentally cause it to appear that the facts recorded in the Renewed Covenant (New Testament) for His death and resurrection do not align with their secretly altered, yet simulated Passover Feast Day calendar model with its new Babylonian styled dark or crescent New Moons, 180 degrees opposite and always 15-45 days off.

“In AD 351-352 Roman persecution flared and the Jews revolted.  They were soon crushed.  Many Jewish towns were destroyed and decrees issued against the local authorities and against Judaism.  The privileges of the head of the Sanhedrin and the freedoms of the Sanhedrin itself were curtailed.  Roman pressure to conform “Jewish time” to “Roman time” had reached crisis level. ibid

 

Under this pressure Hillel II agreed to limit the functions of the head of the Sanhedrin, as well as the Sanhedrin itself, with respect to proclaiming the New Moon, setting festival dates, and employing intercalation [inserting the 13^th lunar month].  With the decline of the Jewish power-base in Israel, the Jewish community in Babylon had been rising in influence to fill the vacuum. Hillel II published details informing all Jews of the methods of the [new] calculated calendar developed in Babylon.  From that time on the Sanhedrin in Judea ceased to function or to maintain calendar experts.  Hillel II is thus given the credit for the present fixed Rabbinical calendar, but in reality it originated in Babylon and was just the starting point of the development of the Rabbinical calendar in use today.” Encyclopedia Judaica, s.v. “Hillel”.

 

“The arrangement of the Jewish calendar as used in the time of Christ is no longer operative.  Modern Jews are divided into two classes.  The Karaite Jews, whose numbers are small, reject tradition and the Talmud, observe their feasts and festivals more nearly with those of Christ’s time as regards the true season. The larger number of Jews follow the Rabbinical Calendar, the product of Rabbi Hillel II and others about 353 A.D. These incorporated into it many of the ancient rules of calculation, but begin their year, and feasts and festivals a month earlier in the season than the Karaites.  We have in 1844 the atonement by the Rabbinical Calendar would be September 23^rd, while by the Karaites it was about that time in October.  By the Rabbinical calendar the First day of Nisan is always between March 12 and April 11, and is always one of four days, Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday the first one after the new moon for that month.” Creation Centered in Christ, by H.G. Although a counterfeit calendar, all these years later, it is utilized as an illusion to prove that they have maintained strict adherence to the New Moon and never to this day changed their timekeeping methodologies. (Hosea 2:11; Lamentations 2:5-7). Thus, the foundation was laid for a deceptive yet, believable hoax.

Five Rules of Postponement

But there remains a great piece of evidence that exposes the deceptive plan of the Rabbinical Pharisees to shift their calendar by 180 degrees. At the time of their calendar change (A.D. 358) of necessity, they had to create and utilize the Five Rules of Postponement to bring some resemblance of order out of chaos. This was an essential invention of convention designed to harmonize the newly accepted Roman continuous week cycle to that of their changed New Moon calendar to ensure that the new floating “Saturday Sabbaths” would NEVER occur on their new Feast Days. For without it the new creation of the Rules of Postponement, the two calendar styles can never be reconciled, or more appropriately, “appear” to be reconciled. Today, both the Rabbinical and the Karaites continue to require the Rules of Postponement.  None of this was ever necessary when the original and authentic Creator’s Calendar was honored, guarded, and kept sacred. 

The Real Reason Churches Disregard the Feast Days

The real reason seventh-day Sabbatarians and other church denominations disregard the Feast Days is because they have chosen to follow Roman Catholic CHRISTIAN ideology. This includes the departure from the Old Testament Torah Law, with its lunar calendar, New Moon Days, and lunar seventh-day Sabbaths.  It also includes the Scriptural Hebrew language and Hebrew sacred names of Yahuah Alahim, Yahusha haMashiach, and the Ruach haKadosh, and all things Hebrew. All these are at odds with the Roman Gregorian replacement names of (Lord, God, Jesus Christ, and Holy Spirit) as well as the solar calendar and its continuous weekly cycle. And stunningly, the Feast Days cannot be located on a solar calendar. And they believe they only have two choices.  Either they must utilize the same Five Rules of Postponement as do the Rabbinical Jews or throw out the Feast Days altogether.  Like oil and water, the Feast Days and the continuous weekly cycle can never mix. 

So it is much easier to ignore the Torah Law with its lunar appointed Feast Days and teach that they ended at the cross/stake or that we are under Grace rather than change their calendar or admit their 1,700-year error. Because of this, and the fact that they will never hear about it from their Pastors or Theologians, most church members will never come face to face with the reality that their cycling weeks and presumed worship days clash with the Creator’s Calendar standard set forth in Scripture. It is that simple! They all march to the beat of a different drum that will never lead to the Kingdom of Yahuah Alahim.   

It is Scripture that reveals both the Roman Gregorian and the Rabbinical Pharisee calendar models to be phony facades, a kind of smoke and mirrors as fabricated from “Jewish fables and commandments of men who turn from the truth.” Titus 1:14.

Roman & Babylonian Bondage

For seventeen hundred years since that time, wholly stripped from the Creator’s ordained night rule of the full moon with the constellation Bethulah for the start of YEARS, mankind remains oblivious to all knowledge of the time-centric worship rhythms of our Creator’s divinely ordained Mazzeroth, wheel of the stars (Job 38:32). 

Each of 12 or 13 starry displays is signified in their order by the full moon as the true New Moon on the eastern horizon at sunset from month to month, commencing in spring. The sun has no power to mark the start of months, that’s why it has been necessary for the creation of paper wall calendars.  By extension, all nations of the earth and each individual person who has accepted the Roman or Rabbinical Pharisee calendar models for days, months, weeks, and years, while ignorant of the facts, continue with the Jews to be willing subjects of Roman and Babylonian bondage. 

The Truth Will Set You Free

While freedom is offered, it is attainable only through trusting obedience to the WAY, the ancient paths provided by our Messiah, with its astro-lunar-solar time prescription for Passover and all the other successive lunar appointed Feast Days.  To follow the LAMB requires using His original time principles of counting from the first full New Moon in the constellation Bethulah, nearest her feet.  Rosh Hashanah can only be found in this way. “In times of ignorance, Yahuah winked” (Acts 17:30) but is now bringing His testing truths to the forefront that have been so long hidden beneath the rubble of false pagan teachings. Under His divine guidance, the shamayim (heavens) are to once again declare His majesty and honor (Psalms 19:1-4). The time-keeping of these celestial bodies, i.e., blood moons on New Moon days, occulted lunar phases and solar eclipses on Passover (middle of the month), along with the correct counting from the full New Moon to each seventh-day Sabbath and lunar appointed Feast Day, were profoundly destined to come forth from obscurity and be restored as the Creator’s tried and true TIMES AND LAWS.  These are thus discovered to be our Eternal Father’s testing principles for His final harvest of the earth. Praise Yahuah!
