The Mounting Weight of Evidence
for the Lunar Sabbath

THE MOUNTING WEIGHT OF EVIDENCE FOR THE LUNAR SABBATH is born on the wings of Scripture, History, and Astronomy as an end-time test of faith in preparation for the Messiah’s RETURN and entrance into the PROMISED LAND. This should be of no surprise, considering TIME was Yasharal’s (Israel’s) first test of faith before leaving Egypt and entering upon their journey to the Promised Land. You will find the reference in Exodus 12:1-10 when Yahuah declared to Moses and Aaron fifteen days before the exodus:

“And declared Yahuah (H#3068 – יהוה – YHUH) unto Moses and unto Aaron, while in the land of Egypt, saying that:

The New Moon, this self-same one, is HEAD (ROSH) of the lunar months, which is FIRST in PLACE as the New Moon for measuring the revolution of a year (HASHANAH).

You shall keep and teach this to all the congregation of Israel saying, ‘in the tenth of the lunar month, do the following: And you shall reserve and keep every man a lamb for each household of the father, a lamb for each house.’” Shemot (Exodus) 12:1-3

All the events that followed that epic night in which Yahuah Alahim RESTORED Moses, Aaron, and all of Yasharal to His correct lunar calendar orientation included:

Rosh Hashanah (New Year’s Day) began at sunrise the next day after Yahuah RESTORED and REORIENTED His Years and Months, as beaconed by the full moon. We know Yahuah did NOT orient the Children of Yasharal to the dark conjunction lunar phase or the first visible crescent because both were the very corrupt orientations already utilized by the Egyptians. Additionally, if they had been utilizing the correct lunar phase for the start of years, months, weeks, and days in Egypt, there would have been no need for this stunning reorientation.
On the 10^th day, counting from Rosh Hashanah, each family was to select a lamb for their Passover. (Exodus 12:3)
On the 14th day, counting from Rosh Hashanah, they were to sacrifice the lamb and place its blood on the doorposts and lintel of their homes. (Exodus 12:4-6)
On the 15^th day, after the Sabbath hours had passed, Yahuah led the Children of Yasharal out of Egypt by night. Because the 15^th was the Sabbath, so was the 8th, 22nd, and 29th for that first month. (Numbers 33:2-3; and Deuteronomy 16:1.) One month later, to the very day (the 15^thof the second lunar month), after the Children of Yasharal had left Egypt, they ran out of food and complained. That night, after the Sabbath hours were passed, Yahuah sent quail into their camp for food. Here is the evidence: “And they departed from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came to the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai; and on the fifteenth day, in the second month after their departure from the land of Egypt, all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron.” Exodus 16: 1, 2 Septuagint (LXX) Also see Exodus 16:8.
The manna feeding schedule began the very next morning, the 16th day of the second month of the year, and the first day of the week. Because the 16th was the first day of the week when the Children of Yasharal first received manna from heaven, it placed the Sabbath for this second month in a row on the 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, and 29^th. (Exodus 19)
Two months after the Exodus, to the very day (the 15th of the third lunar month), the Children of Yasharal arrived at Mt. Sinai by night after the Sabbath hours had passed. Because it states that it occurred to the very day, it places the Sabbath for that third month on the 8^th, 15^th, 22^nd, and 29^th. For Three Months in a Row, the Sabbaths had the very same sequence of dates. Why is this important to mention? This is impossible when utilizing the Roman solar calendar model with its continuous weekly cycle that has been divorced from the moon altogether.
The same sequence of the Creator’s RESTORED lunar calendar was implemented as the foundation stone for the entire priestly sacrificial system during the remainder of the forty years after the Wilderness Tabernacle was erected. Moses recorded this to illustrate to the people throughout the eons unto this very day how the Creator’s Calendar worked for counting Years, Months, Weeks, and Days, along with the unbreakable bond between TIME & PROPHETIC EVENTS. Whether a regular work day or a Sabbath, a New Moon Day (beaconed by the full moon) or a lunar appointed Feast Day, all four kinds of days were governed and counted in the same manner, from New Moon to New Moon and from Sabbath to Sabbath using the same lunar time-measuring model. It is because the New Moon Day (beaconed by the full moon) exists that it breaks the cycle of weeks every lunar month. The fact that the New Moon Day is given a voice and a day in time 349 times throughout Scripture makes it impossible for an unbroken continuous weekly cycle to exist in our Creator’s time-measuring model.
When Yahuah Alahim synchronized the daily sacrificial system in the Wilderness Tabernacle to His recently RESTORED lunar appointed calendar model, the Blueprint for Salvation, the very REMEDY for SIN was made known and recorded. The lunar appointed Feast Days, marking PROPHETIC TIME & EVENT, illustrated the step-by-step mechanism for Salvation, which was to be performed by the Messiah alone. Thus, the lunar appointed Feast Days are prophecies detailing the work of Yahusha, the Messiah, unto salvation for those who care and seek to walk in His paths on their journey to the final Promised Land.
