Established Forever Like the Moon
Established Forever Like the Moon
(Based on Psalms 89:37 and more.)
The full moon ascends, a silver glow,
In the night’s embrace, a sacred show.
Established in the heavens high,
YAH’s east-west witness in the sky.
The Sabbath, marked by a lunar phase,
A rhythm from the Ancient of Days,
Not by the man-made, solar count,
But by the moon, as paramount.
“Established forever,” the Psalmist plays,
Like the moon, syncing holy days,
A timepiece in the starry dome,
A guide unto YAH’s eternal throne.
The seventh day, His Sabbath rest,
Found in the cycle, divinely blessed,
Not in the week of human plan,
But in the light, where truth began.
The full moon calls, the month anew,
A sign, a beacon, clear and true,
The Sabbath starts its sacred course,
From its Maker, its only source.
“But all that’s hidden shall be revealed,”
In light, where truth is unconcealed,
Ephesians speaks of light’s embrace,
Revealing all with holy grace.
Sun, moon, and stars, in cosmic dance,
Not born of fate, nor of mere chance,
But woven in the fabric tight,
Of YAH’s design, both day and night.
The Sabbath, not by Rome’s decree,
But by the moon, YAH’s time shall be,
From Egypt, Babylon, and Rome’s strong chain,
The faithful leave, His truth to gain.
Philo spoke of New Moon day,
The start of which all shall obey,
A festival, a day of light,
Following after full moon’s night.
The ancients knew the lunar way,
The Sabbath’s found in moon’s array,
Four weeks that cycle, pure and bright,
From full to full moon in our sight.
The Hebrew calendar once did bind,
Sun, moon, and stars, all intertwined,
But now it’s bent to man’s design,
Forsaking what was once divine.
But in the night, the truth remains,
In moonlit paths and starry lanes,
A witness to the time of old,
When Sabbaths were by moon foretold.
No earthly power can alter this,
The lunar cycle’s timeless kiss,
A Sabbath, pure, untouched by man,
Ordained by YAH when time began.
Rome’s Nicaean Council’s sway,
Did lead the world another way,
Yet those who seek the ancient path,
Will find YAH’s Sabbath, within moon’s math.
The Roman, Pharisee, and Talmud lore,
Have changed the way time went before,
But in the heavens, YAH’s decree,
Remains for all eternity.
From the restored moon’s brilliant phase,
Yah’s true Sabbath shall amaze,
A testament, a light so true,
Established in the sky’s deep blue.
So let us follow where it leads,
The moon, the stars, YAH’s ancient creeds,
For in their light, we find the way,
To honor YAH, as potter’s clay.
While its been hidden, what a loss,
It’s forever established, like a boss,
A witness in the sky above,
A symbol of YAH’s endless love.
