Fact or Fiction?
The Creator’s Calendar website is often asked our thoughts on the Book of Enoch as it relates to some particular Scriptural point of view. Here is a short list of reasons why this website continues not to utilize the Book of Enoch for calendation principles or any other foundational belief. This article discusses three points. 1) Time measuring; 2) Flat Earth Theory; 3) Demons mating with the women of earth. While our views are not reflected in the popularized Hollywood theories and its present darkness hype, we believe our views bear the Scriptural and Eternal standard.
1) Lunar-Astro-Line Time VS. the Book of Enoch’s Solar-Line Time Comparison
For thousands of years, the entire world has been spoon-fed artificial time-measuring methods 180 degrees opposite of the ordained WAY OF THE MOST HIGH, as witnessed in Scripture. This is further driven by the egregious changes made in all the translations of Scripture with regard to TIMES & LAWS (Daniel 7:25) that serve to cover up the full moon as the original New Moon of Creation and support whatever is fashionable among the Babylonians, Egyptians, Romans, and even the modern Jews.
Despite this, Yahuah’s true followers, those who seek truth with all their hearts and obey, will be restored and come forth triumphant from earth’s dark pit of deception into His Kingdom and marvelous FULL LIGHT OF TRUTH.
It is only as the shamayim (heavens) have been taken captive by the supplanting of pagan time-measuring principles that usurp the original plan of the Creator that the Mazzaroth (Job 38:32), referring to the Zodiac has become paganized. Add this to the pagan view that the date of one’s birth among the twelve signs determines one’s personality or future life events, and this becomes cause enough for Scripture believers to throw the whole thing out. Shame on us! The correct use of the time beaconed from the Mazzaroth in the shamayim is the signature of the Eternal, the Creator of all. His would-be followers have only injured the cause of truth by throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Rather, this is our opportunity to reverse this heresy and rebuild the wall of truth in Yarushalom, one time unit upon another, as did Ezra and Nehemiah with the great stones.
As often repeated, “the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is for good men/women to do nothing.” The marching orders for the obedient followers of the Eternal are to set His clock/calendar aright and restore all His truths. All prophecies with an end-time application will be determined only by the true and original calendar model, with the predominant focus on the full moon as the original new moon.
And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, the repairer of the breach, the restorer of paths to dwell in. Isaiah 58:12.
Lunar-Astro-Line Time
The lunar-astro-line Time is the Creator’s standard for measuring and marking time as confirmed by Scripture in multiple places and ways. This means the sun is not visible in the scenario, although it is in perfect alignment. This perspective is viewed from the earth by night by an imaginary straight line drawn from earth through the full moon to mark a ruling starry constellation or vice versa. From earth’s perspective, on the first night of each lunar-astro YEAR, this occurs when the full moon rises closest to the feet of the woman Bethula (Virgo) and no higher than her waist (Revelation 12:1), announcing the New Year will begin the next morning at sunrise. While the full New Moon rules together with the stars by night, the new day always begins the next morning at sunrise. Additionally, the full moon rises in the east each lunar month and marks the ruling constellation for that specific month. The brilliant (#G4582 Selene) full moon rules the sky from east to west, announcing each New Year, New Month, the count of four weeks, and the start of the count of 29 or 30 days that begin the following sunrise.
Three Scriptural witnesses identify that the Eternal Father, Yahuah Alahim, ordained that the passage of time was to be marked by the movement of the full moon against the backdrop of the twelve starry constellations during the night along the east-west time continuum, while the sun rules alone by day. And to this list, I’ve added a fourth witness. This means that a changing of the guard, so to speak, for the New Year’s Day, New Moon Day, and new calendar date was designed to be announced in the night to begin at the next sunrise.
In contrast, since the time of Nimrod of ancient Babylon and his creation of the solar sun cult, the pagan nations of the earth have, in rebellion against their Creator, proactively changed His ordered arrangement by 180 degrees. They utilize the sun ruling by day as the marker of the stars by day when they are not even visible, announcing the new day to begin at sunset or midnight. But what does Scripture say?
Then Alahim made two great lights, the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night with the stars. Genesis 1:16 (The words “He made also” are translator insertions.)
To Him who made the great LIGHTS, for His compassion endures forever; the sun to rule by day, for His compassion endures forever; the moon and stars to rule by night, for His compassion endures forever. Psalms 136:7-9
Thus says Yahuah, Who gives the sun for a light by day, the ordinances [laws] of the moon and the stars for a light by night, who disturbs the sea, and its waves roar. . . Jeremiah 31:35
Then an exceedingly important SIGN appeared in the heavens; a woman [constellation Virgo/Bethulah] arose [in the east] arrayed with the sun and the (G#4582 – selene – brilliant moon) brilliant FULL MOON at her feet, and above her head was a crown of twelve stars. Revelation 12:1
These four verses of Scripture harmoniously identify that the sun rules alone by daylight, but the full moon as the New Moon rules all night together with its marked starry constellation from east to west. Each of the sun, moon, and stars only RULE when they are visible.
Not surprisingly, Solar-Line Time is contrary in every way to the Creator’s Lunar-Astro-Line Time, as shown below. As a result, the New Moon lunar phase utilized to depict the Scriptural Lunar-Astro-Line Time is strikingly contrasted to all the forms of solar reckoning whether they utilize a New Moon or not, as with the Gregorian and Enoch calendars. In this article, we are only comparing Solar-Line Time with Lunar-Astro-Line Time. Also, note that it is impossible to accurately depict the spiral lunar orbit as its length changes yearly. Regular years contain 354 days, and irregular years contain 384. But even so, the full New Moon holds the key that consistently marks the constellation Bethula (Virgo) as the start of the year in the spring following the vernal equinox. Refer to the article/study in Revelation 12:1. A Great Sign Appeared in the Shamayim. Here, John the Revelator echoes the unwavering ancient foundational truths set forth at creation that ONLY the moon rules together with the stars by night. Note also that there should always be an alignment of four things. Although the sun is not visible at night when the moon and stars rule together for measuring time, the sun is still in perfect alignment. The moon could not be full if the sun was not aligned perfectly. But the predominant marker for measuring the shamayim (heavens) was assigned by our Creator to the moon, not the sun. For Example:
“It shall be established forever like the MOON, even like the trustworthy witness in the sky.” Psalms 89:37
Also refer to: Psalms 104:19; Exodus 12:1-3; Psalms 81:3; Isaiah 66:22-23; Ezekiel 46:1-3; Luke 23:44-45; Revelation 12:1-2; etc., etc. In fact, Scripture does not mention a 365.25-day year but rather illustrates all prophetic time as 360-day years. This alludes to the fact that Scriptural and prophetic times come with a built-in mathematical average over a nineteen-year Metonic Cycle. This is calculated by adding twelve regular lunar years of 354 days with seven embolismic thirteen-month years of 384 days (12 x 354 lunar days plus 7 x 384 divided by 19) lunar days within a nineteen-year cycle. The average of this equals 365 solar days. So it can be seen that in nineteen years, there is a disparity between the lunar years and the solar years of a quarter day (.25 day). However, the lunar years are perfectly harmonious with solar years in approximately (228) years. Meaning there is never a loss of days.
Stunning historical evidence has accurately documented that, indeed, when the ancient Israelites were obedient to Yahuah, they followed the lunar phases for their New Moon day and counted each lunar civil calendar date from the New Moon to arrive at each specific Kadosh Feast Day. In fact, it was an abomination to follow the solar calendar of the neighboring pagan nations. All their seventh-day Sabbaths were counted from the New Moon, making the Sabbath lunar. Although this website believes that the modern Jews are now 180 degrees off from the original New Moon, there remains a remnant of truth in their current tradition of time-measuring for the Feast Days by the moon. However, the modern Jews have since A.D. 358 given up their lunar Sabbaths as their Roman captors pressured them to utilize the new continuous weekly cycle.
Enoch’s Solar-Line Time as Measured through the Sun
This astroplot below illustrates the ever-growing popularity of the Enoch solar calendar with its Solar-Line Time entirely independent of the moon. It is similar to the modern Gregorian calendar in that it is based upon the principles of a 365.25 solar year with a comprehensive rejection of any involvement of the lunar phases. Note that this measuring-time alignment, measured by day, includes only earth, sun, and starry constellations. But this is where the similarities end. The Enoch calendar is about the sun and the vernal equinox with consistent 30-day months. One day is added each quarter, bringing its total to 91 days. Then, an additional day is added on the last day of the year, bringing the total number of days of the year to 365.
While this calendar entirely disregards any New Moon of Scripture, it is surprising how many folks claiming solo Scriptura continue to support and teach this form of time-keeping, if for no other reason than that Scripture refers to the New Moon over 300 times. This is twice the number of times any reference is made to the Sabbath. In this model, the sun is the primary time indicator, which continues to mark the ruling constellation of stars on the opposite side of the universe by day when they are neither visible nor ruling according to Scripture’s standards. Remember, according to Scripture, the sun was designed to rule alone by daylight and never with the stars, while it was the full New Moon that the Creator designed to rule together with the stars by night perpetually. So, any method that falls short of the Creator’s template for time-keeping is unlawful within His Kingdom. Anyone continuing to follow a Solar-Line-Time system once they have been shown ample evidence remains in rebellion against their Creator. Please take the time today to review your options. The Messiah has already made a way of escape and is restoring His divine truths to those who seek obedience.
To the Torah Law and to the Testimony [of the Messiah]: if they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no LIGHT in them. Isaiah 8:20
The Torah Law refers to the first five books of the Tanakh (Old Testament), or it can include the entire Tanakh. The Testimony denotes the seven prophetic Kadosh (sacred) Feast Days ordained to tell the Messiah’s salvation story every year from beginning to end and from the full New Moon to the full New Moon. No doubt the Testimony also includes the entire Renewed Covenant (New Testament), revealing the life of the Messiah. Together, the Torah Law and the Testimony perform like a GPS Unit that pinpoints where the truth may be found. If the Book of Enoch, or any other writings considered to be inspired, come between a person and the TRUTH as found in the Torah Law and the Testimony, then they can no longer claim Scripture as their foundation or guide, and there is NO LIGHT in them.

Book of 1 Enoch comprises five to six books by five or six different authors. The only thing each of these portions has in common is the character name of “Enoch.”
The Book of Parables (written around 70 A.D.) is the most unique. It uses different terminology. It speaks of the “son of man” or “the chosen one” as the Messianic figure. This is the only book of the five that now make up the Book of 1 Enoch that is NOT found in Qumran (Dead Sea Scrolls). Some believe that, as a result, it is a Christian book written between (A.D. 50-400). But the problem with this is that it doesn’t utilize Christian terminology. THE REAL PROBLEM IS THAT AT THIS BOOK’S END, IT PORTRAYS ENOCH AS THE “SON OF MAN,” MAKING ENOCH THE LONG PROMISED MESSIAH. Therefore, this cannot be a Christian work.
The Christians have edited the Testament of the Patriarchs. Christians edited many things in what is referred to as the Correctories of Rome. It is very clear when they are adding Christian editions (edits).
Book of 1Enoch was written during the second Temple period, with the first book written as early as (350 BC), and the last book of 1Enoch written as late as (70 A.D.) around the same period as Yahusha the Messiah. The term “son of man” was used in the Book of Parables around the time of the New Testament writers. Hebrew does not capitalize on these words.
Enoch “walked” with Yahuah could mean:
- Like Elijah was taken in a chariot of fire.
- Walking with Yahuah could mean Enoch died.
- It could mean walking with angels because who can walk with Yahuah Alahim?
- I believe the keyword is “walked, ” meaning to go, went, come, or walked. So Enoch went with Yahuah, and he was not for Yahuah took him, just like Elijah.
The Book of the Watchers identifies that Enoch was taken to heaven because of the Watchers’ sin (fallen angels).
Enoch is asked by the Watchers (fallen sinful angels) to defend them. Yahuah said No! So, this book depicts humans as praying for and helping fallen evil demonic angels.
Epistle of Jude 1:14-15:
“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men also, saying, ‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands of His saints, to execute judgment on all, to convict all who are ungodly among them of all their ungodly deeds which they have committed in an ungodly way, and of all the harsh things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.'” Jude 1:14-15
Amazingly, these two verses appear in 1 Enoch’s “Book of Parables.” So what does this mean???
- Either Jude considered 1Enoch “Book of Parables” authoritative and copied from it or . . .
- OR, 1 Enoch’s “Book of Parables” considered Jude authoritative and copied from it.
- OR, this is an example of Christian EDITS, where the Roman Christians inserted this from the Book of Enoch into Scripture via Jude.
The Church Fathers (first 400-500 years) are none other than the Roman Catholic Church Bishops.
1 Enoch and Jubilees were written originally in Greek but preserved in whole and full copies in the Ethiopic Ethiopian Church. Interestingly, the Ethiopian Church includes 1 Enoch in its Bible when no one else does. These manuscripts are really late, from the 16th century.
Critical Edition = This is when you compare all the manuscripts. You then choose which text is the best. Then, have footnotes that compare all the differences from each available manuscript.
- Right now, Loren Schookenbrook, Ph.D. professor, specializes in the subject of Enoch.
- Some fragments are in the Ethiopian version, and some are in Greek and Aramaic. It is believed that 1 Enoch was originally written in Aramaic, then translated to Greek, and then to Ethiopia.
The Book of Luminaries – is an astronomical book with many very confusing observations of the MOON. A complete work written in Aramaic was found in Qumran and is very DIFFERENT from the ETHIOPIAN VERSION THAT CAME DOWN TO US. The fact that it was found in Qumran tells us this BOOK OF LUMINARIES and Book of Jubilees were written during the Second Temple Period.
Nehemiah Gordon’s Theory revolves around 4 EZRA Chapter 14:45-46 – literature from the second Temple period.
“When the forty days were ended the most high spoke to me [Ezra], saying, make public the twenty-four books that you wrote first and let the worthy and the unworthy read them. But keep the seventy that were written last in order to give them to the wise among your people. For in them is the spring of understanding, the fountain of wisdom and the river of knowledge.” 4 EZRA 14:45-46
Nehemiah believes this is describing two cannons of the Old Testament. No one will dispute that this refers to the books that are referred to today as the Tanakh (the Hebrew Bible). The Hebrews always count them as 24 books even though the Christians count them differently, such as 1 Kings and 2 Kings. But then Ezra 14:46 speaks of the 70 books, which I have always understood to be held by a private group of Jews that were not known or assessable to the other Jews.
Dr. Brand: The Book of Jubilees is often referred to as the other book Moses wrote at Sinai. But theologians understand that it is a retelling of Scripture during the second Temple period, with its authors’ new theology baked in.
Also, the Genesis Apocrypha retells a Biblical story. There is a whole poem that goes into detail.
Secret Works – Apocrypha means hidden works.
FAKE BOOKS: Book of Enoch at the very end. Chapter 104:10 . . .
“And now I know this mystery that many sinners will alter and distort the words of truth and speak evil words and lie and concoct great fabrications and write books in their own words.” Book of 1Enoch 104:10
So, according to 1 Enoch, a fake Scriptural wannabe, many people will be concocting great fabrications and writing FAKE BOOKS IN THEIR OWN WORDS THAT ARE NOT THE WORDS OF YAHUAH. Yet this is exactly what these five authors have done.
Scholars agree that ENOCH, the seventh from Adam, DID NOT WRITE ANY OF THESE FIVE BOOKS. But to give credibility to their book, they used Enoch’s name. 1 Enoch is simply a forgery.
What the five authors have in common is that they have all written works that they claim were from Enoch. Then, these five works have been put together as one complete work. So, did they say this in chapter 104:10 to cover up their own crime?
The other possibility is that each of the five was channeled from the dark demonic spirit world that Satan was giving them to say.
BOOK OF WATCHERS
The Book of Watchers incorporates the first 36 chapters of the Book of Enoch, the First Book of 1 Enoch. The watchers are, as some claim, the fallen angels. “Erin” means watchers. Meaning AWAKE – those who do not sleep.
2) The Book of Enoch Proclaims the “Flat Earth” Theory
Today, a feeding frenzy is associated with the flat earth theory (FET), which a resurgence of the Book of Enoch may partly fuel. Those most likely to be swayed to this line
of thinking can be categorized into one of three groups: 1) The HONEST OF HEART, as they zealously defend their view of Scripture; 2) Those who would be KINGS of their own mountain, whether mythical or not; 3) CONSPIRACY THEORISTS, who see a conspiracy in all things.
Speaking for myself, I’d like to think that I fall into the “honest of heart” category, as I had decided that if this theory were proven out, I would accept it, whether popular or not. While I believe conspiracies continue to occur on a grand scale on earth, I have discovered that the “spherical earth” is NOT one of them.
Many of these honest-hearted Flat Earthers (FEs) sincerely try to defend exactly what they perceive Scripture teaches. While defending the truth and one’s beliefs is always a worthy cause, in this case, it is having the zeal for YAHUAH, but not according to knowledge.
“For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for YAHUAH (God), but not according to knowledge.” Romans 10:2
In contrast, I emphatically believe the modern method of measuring time is the grandest conspiracy ever conceived and perpetrated upon mankind. Although attributed to Nimrod (circa 2,300 B.C.) as the sun cult creator, the title should go to ha SATAN. His grand illusions of becoming like the Eternal gave rise to his changing earth’s method of measuring time by 180 degrees. This was proactively designed to cause earthlings to be out of sync with the worship rhythms of their Creator, Yahuah Alahim, and in step with the great deceiver. Isaiah 14:12-15 states:
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into the shamayim (heaven), I will exalt my throne above the stars of Yahuah: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation [mo`ed], in the sides of the north [place where the sun, moon, and stars arise and set]: I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High. Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit. Isaiah 14:12-15
Although the Flat Earth theory proponents support many intriguing arguments, THREE UNANSWERABLE OBJECTIONS remain. These three principles stand as flaming swords at the gate of truth. So what are they? The Three Unanswerable Objections to the flat earth theory are the sun, the moon, and the stars.
Flat Earth Model of the Sun
Twelve-Hour Consistent View of the Sun. The first unanswerable objection to the Flat Earthers is the view of the sun that we see with our own eyes, day in and day out. With the spherical earth model, when the sun arises, 
it is perfectly round. As it rises overhead, it remains perfectly round but the same size and shape as when it was first on the horizon. Thus, it remains consistent in size and shape from sunrise to sunset. This reality establishes the earth as a sphere.
In contrast to this physical and visible phenomenon of the sun, the Flat Earth Theory folks must deny their own eyes. They teach that the sun glides along relatively low and just above the clouds. 
The Flat Earth Theorists (F.E.T.) teach that the sun glides along over the earth in a level circle just above the clouds.
The FEs teach that the sun is not visible at night, although in a perfect line of sight on a flat earth, because, in reality, the sun is too far away to see and because it behaves as a spotlight. The significant nature of a spotlight is that it shines only in one direction, and 
its light source cannot be viewed from the side. At night, it is so far away from the observer that from a distance, the angle prohibits it from being visible. The FEs teach that as this giant sun spotlight comes in or out of view, it ends or begins the night where you are as the first rays of light can be seen or disappear. Full Moon Lunar Eclipse
A lunar eclipse is a visible sky manifestation that all may behold, both young and old alike. Continuously and without interruption, the sun shines on this spherical-shaped earth, which acts like an umbrella, casting a round shadow into space. In a lunar eclipse, the full moon passes through this round shadow made by the earth several times a year, either in a partial eclipse (penumbra) or a total eclipse (umbra). The visual effect on the full moon is of the earth’s spherical shadow passing from one side to the other. Further, this event is visible only
between sunset and sunrise, when the moon and the sun are in opposition to each other, and the earth comes directly between them.
The FET cannot give an adequate or realistic explanation of what mammoth obstruction consistently blocks the sun’s light from reaching the full moon during a lunar eclipse one or more times a year. As a result, I cannot accept a theory as an eternal truth of the Creator that is so visibly apparent to every eye that observes a full moon lunar eclipse once or twice a year. The Flat Earth Theory Teaches that Star Trails Only Occur at the North Pole
The Flat Earth Theorists have declared that long exposure/time-lapse photography can only produce star trails at the North Pole nearest the North Star Polaris. This is when we see a distinct pattern of lines of starlight encircling the North Star. They claim that this same phenomenon does NOT occur at the South Pole, but rather all the stars spread out into the great expanse of the universe at the Antarctic. So, if it can be illustrated using long exposure/time-lapse photography of the South Pole that, indeed, the star trails circle a single point, the entire F.E.T. would fall like a house of cards, for it would establish the earth as a sphere with two poles, one in the north and one in the south.
An additional point F.E.T.’s make is that navigators on the high seas have, for thousands of years, oriented to the North Star only.
The Southern Stars are the Flat Earth Theorists’ Greatest Challenge
As the third unanswerable objection to the Flat Earth Theory, there remains extraordinary evidence regarding the star trails of the South Pole near the Southern Cross, as pictured below. This photo was shot from New Zealand by an amateur photographer and not by NASA or another government agency.
Also, there is much documentation for navigating in the Southern Hemisphere by orienting to the Southern Cross nearest the South Pole. So when navigating in the northern hemisphere, the North Star Polaris remains the central point of orientation. Still, when navigating in the southern hemisphere, the Southern Cross is used to pinpoint the true South Pole.
Below is a short MUST-WATCH video. This video will illustrate the same circular star trails of the South Pole as observed from the perspectives of three southern continents: South America, South Africa, and Australia. This reality of the circling star trails at the South Pole makes the Flat Earth Theory an utter impossibility. GAME OVER!

So the truth remains that the stars, from the earth’s perspective, encircle both the North and the South Poles equally from east to west. Each night as illustrated in the long exposure/time-lapse photography from three continents, these starry witnesses arise in the east, make their way up and over, and go down in the west. This occurs in a circular motion that tightens as it gets closer to each of the two-pole centers. This testimony of the stars is irrefutable evidence that the earth is a ball-shaped sphere.
This idea of a flat earth is no laughing matter, as the folks jumping on this track are dead serious. This issue is deceiving many good-hearted folks at a time when the focus should be on the real conspiracy of the changes in Scripture relating to the Names of Yahuah and Yahusha and the entire calendar set forth at creation.
Folks, wake up. We have been given two eyes to see and a mind to distinguish truth from error. We must put on Yahuah’s discernment spectacles and pray for continued truth and for His continued compassion upon us all. 3) The Book of Enoch Teaches Fallen Messengers Can Procreate.
There are other problems with the Book of Enoch, which directly attacks the truths of Scripture. This includes the teaching that Satan and His demonic host of fallen messengers can procreate (with seed) by having relations with the women of the earth to produce giants, a unique group of people who have no hope of salvation even if they desire it. Strikingly, not only from the Scriptures but directly from the mouth of Yahusha, our Messiah, He states:
“For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of Yahuah in the shamayim (heavens).” Matthew 22:30
This means that all the hosts of created messengers, whether obedient to Yahuah or not, including those 1/3 of fallen messengers who were removed from the presence of Yahuah the Eternal, were created to be messengers. They were not created to propagate, have families, or populate their own worlds in the universe. According to Scripture, they most likely were not created with any reproductive organs. The mere fact that skeletal remains of giants have been found does in no way prove they are the product of this fictitious cross-breeding of fallen demon messengers mating with female earthlings.
The following verses are just two of many identifying that the Messiah came to this world to save anyone who calls upon His name.
“For Yahuah so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” John 3:16
“For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.” Luke 19:10
For these reasons alone, to remain a consistent follower of Yahuah and Scripture, one must choose between the Scriptures and the Book of Enoch (and the other fictional works) that have been passed down that remain in conflict. With one foot in one belief system and one foot in the other, there can only be conflict and compromise. As stated in the book of Joshua (Yahusha) 24:15:
“Choose you this day whom you will serve.
But for me and my house, we will serve Yahuah.”
We firmly believe that if we say we are Scripture followers, we must remain true to Scripture.
In 175 BC, long after the Babylonian captivity, a time when Israel was being obedient to Yahuah’s eternal laws and statutes (His correct time-measuring model), the chief of the Sanhedrin stated:
“All who read and believe the five fictional books that contain the solar time of 365 day years, which included the Book of Enoch and the Book of Angels, will not inherit the world to come.” Head of the Sanhedrin, 175 BC, as stated by Rachel Elior, Professor of Hebrew Philosophy at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, Israel.
So you can see that even before the time of the Messiah, there were those teaching the merits of the Book of Enoch. This belief is becoming ever more popular today as well because of the advancement of Jewish mysticism, as heralded by Rachel Elior, Ph.D. of Ancient Hebrew Manuscripts. The Book of Enoch is central to the Qabalah (Kabbalah) and the ancient master’s studies in Babylonian mysticism.
From our research, the Book of Enoch appears to have always been a fictional work based upon a dual foundation of FACT & FICTION in the Scriptural narrative. The mere fact that this fictional book is named after a real person of great standing in Scripture does not prove it was written by Enoch, who was the seventh generation from Adam and who lived before the great flood. On the contrary, the five works that makeup 1 Enoch, each written by a different author, are all believed to have been written between 350 B.C. and 50 B.C., except one. The Book of Parables was written between A.D. 31 and A.D. 70. This is deduced from the language style referencing “the son of man” and is, therefore, determined to have been written between A.D. 31 and A.D. 70.
Although the Book of Enoch presents many intriguing concepts, TheCreatorsCalendar.com believes that each portion not only falls short of Scripture’s highest standard but wholly undermines its pragmatic truths.
We don’t believe for a minute that this is the final word on this subject as Yahuah continues to reveal more light. At the end of the day, you are welcome to believe as you choose, but our choices today will determine our eternal destiny.
