 Test for the True Sabbath and Calendar of Scripture

This article reveals that when utilizing the traditional Feast Days and Scriptural Sabbath, they are consistently located by counting from the New Moon, meaning not only the Feast Days are lunar, but also the true seventh-day Sabbath. It has also been discovered that the Menorah punctuates the consistent placement of these two specific lunar appointed Feast Dates as occurring on the lunar seventh-day Sabbath, the 15th of their respective months, a full six months apart. A reality that can never be accomplished with a fraudulent calendar.

Laying the Foundation 

The foundational reality of this article’s presentation is found in both the historical works of Philo and that of Leviticus 23 for comparison.  So we will begin with his famous quote that establishes these two greatest Festivals in the spring and in the fall and their consistent tie to the seventh-day Sabbath on the 15th of their respective lunar months, six months apart. 

“But to the seventh-day of the week He [YHUH, the Most High] has assigned the greatest festivals, those of the longest duration, at the periods of the equinox both vernal and autumnal in each year; appointing two festivals for these two epochs, each lasting seven days; the one which takes place in the spring being for the perfection of what is being sown, and the one which falls in autumn being a feast of thanksgiving for the bringing home of all the fruits which the trees have produced.” F.H. Colson’s translation of Philo’s THE DECALOGUE XXX (161)

Referring to the quote above, let’s look carefully at what Philo is saying. “But to the seventh day of the week, He [YHUH, the Most High] has assigned the greatest festivals.” In other words, the greatest (longest) festivals have been assigned to commence on the seventh-day Sabbath in both the spring and the fall. 

Then, by no coincidence, Leviticus 23:6 identifies that this spring seven-day Feast of Unleavened Bread consistently begins on the 15th day counted from the New Moon, which consistently follows the day after Passover the 14th. Did you know that for forty years in a row, the Israelites were fed manna in the wilderness and celebrated Passover on the 14th day? The next day, the 15th was always the seventh-day Sabbath. Link Then, fifteen hundred years later, our Messiah died on the cross/stake for you and me on Passover, the 14th day counted from the New Moon.  The very next day, the 15th,  he remained in the tomb over the seventh-day Sabbath. So it appears the 15th of the first month is always a seventh-day Sabbath. Three days and Three Nights

Specific Lunar Appointed Dates 

Then, several verses later, Leviticus 23:34 identifies that the autumn seven-day Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot) also commences on Sabbath, the 15th day counted from the New Moon. Verse 3 tells us the seventh-day Sabbath is always a holy convocation (H#4744 מקרא miqra  = rehearsal assembly event). Verse 4 identifies that holy convocations shall be proclaimed on their seasons (H#4150 mo’ed = specific lunar appointed dates per Psalms 104:19).  As a result, seventh-day Sabbaths are specific lunar appointed dates and are always counted from the New Moon.

Philo establishes that the weekly Sabbath highlights these two feasts on the 15th of their respective months, six months apart each year. This is evidence that the Sabbaths are counted according to the lunar calendar because there is no way the [modern] continuous weekly cycle with its seventh-day rhythm can commence these two festivals on the 15th in both the 1st and 7th month of each year consistently. This only works within the parameters of a lunar month and its count to each of the four Sabbaths, and not with the Gregorian calendar with its continuous weekly cycle. 

A timeless key to unlocking this modern calendar mystery can be found in the details connecting the spring Feast of Unleavened Bread with the fall Feast of Tabernacles. While the title of this article bears the name Passover, it is the day after Passover for which this article is focused, which is the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  The time measurement will be from the 15th of Abib to the 15th of Ethanim as these are the specific lunar appointed dates defined in Leviticus 23 for the beginning and ending Feast Day celebrations that commence upon the second seventh-day Sabbath of their respective lunar months.

These sacred appointed Feast Days, as outlined in Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23, are of great importance to the Sanctuary/Temple services as given by the Eternal Father to the Hebrew people at the time of Moses. The types and shadows of Israel’s Temple were a “virtual reality,” a visual display and living drama representation on earth of the DIVINE Plan of Salvation. The TRUE time-centric prophetic REALITY was to be worked out in the courts of the shamayim (heavens) above by the promised Messiah for a full and complete restoration of mankind back to the FATHER.

The Prophetic Plan of Redemption

List of Time-Centric Commonalities

This calendar challenge is generated from the time-keeping details provided in Exodus 12, Leviticus 23, Ezekiel 46:1-3, and Isaiah 66:23. Both the spring Feast of Unleavened Bread and the fall Feast of Tabernacles share the following EIGHT unwavering and distinguishing features. Leviticus 23 and Exodus 12:1-3.

1. Both Feasts are reckoned by using the same lunar calendar system.  Exodus 12:1-3. Each time the term month is used in Scripture it means lunar month or New Moon Day.
2. Both Feasts are observed yearly. Leviticus 23:6, 39, 41.
3. Both Feasts begin on the 15^th day of the lunar month counting from the full New Moon. Leviticus 23:6, 39.
4. Both Feasts begin on the seventh-day Sabbath, each and every year, without exception. Leviticus 23:7, 39.
5. Both Feasts commence at the time of the dark conjunction lunar phase, the only time a solar eclipse can occur. Genesis 15:12-17; Luke 23:44-45.
6. There are 177 days between the 15^th of Abib (month one) and the 15^th of Ethanim (or Tishri) (month seven) each regular astro-luni-solar year. Although, seven times in 19 years there is a Thirteenth month inserted, it will never affect the count of days between the first and seventh month. (Six Scriptural lunar months equal 177 days. Three of these months have 30 days and three months have 29 days.)
7. There are exactly six lunar months between both of these appointed Feast Days from spring to fall. Leviticus 23:5, 6, 34.
8. Both the Feast of Unleavened Bread and the Feast of Tabernacles are simultaneously tied to both the 15th date of the month as counted from the Full Moon as the authentic New Moon and the seventh day of the week. Leviticus 23:6-7, 34-35.  Click on images to increase their visual size.
   

Please notice by the color coding above that while the full New Moon Days are never seventh-day Sabbaths, they do re-set the count and layout of the four-weekly cycles each lunar month.

For this calendar challenge, the year 2008, in the Gregorian calendar, will be utilized. Since April 15 falls on a Saturday, it allows the weekly cycles to begin their count on the 16^th of April 2008. This makes it possible for all the above eight points to be applied visually for the spring Feast Days. As a result, April coincides with the first lunar month of the Hebrew Spring Feast Days, and so too, October coincides with the seventh lunar month. However, any other year can be tested with equal results, but one must utilize the Gregorian date marker for both spring and fall Feast Day placements.

If the Gregorian calendar is proven to be Yahuah’s true calendar of Creation, the Exodus, and the timing of the Messiah’s crucifixion, then the count to the Fall Feast of Tabernacles will naturally fit all eight of the criteria detailed in the Scriptures, as listed above.

Rules of Authenticity

In order to substantially prove the Gregorian calendar is in harmony with Scripture, the following factors must occur consistently from year to year:

1. This test must show that both April 15^th and October 15^th are both consistently and perpetually Saturdays, if indeed the continuous weekly cycle is the Scriptural pattern of the Creator’s true time-measuring model.
2. Thus it must be possible to connect the continuous weekly cycle beginning on the first day following Saturday, April 15^th, and it must end simultaneously on both a Saturday, the seventh-day of the Roman Gregorian week and  October 15^th of the month. 

But if this criterion fails to be produced, then this short study stands as definitive evidence that the Gregorian calendar’s continuous weekly cycle IS NOT in harmony with Scripture, after all.

Since there are always 177 days between the Scriptural spring and fall feasts, then it should be a simple task to consistently connect these two sacred appointed Feast Day celebrations/rehearsals using the continuous weekly cycle.

The Roman Gregorian Calendar Model

In the Gregorian calendar model below for 2008, the blue dots mark the 26 whole seven-day weeks and Saturday Sabbaths between April 15 and October 15. Count these for yourself, each seven-day week starting on the first day after Saturday, April 15. The last day of your last week count should be both a Saturday and the 15^th day of the month. But is it?

Roman Gregorian Calendar Challenge Questions

Question 1: Looking at the Gregorian calendar above, the question of the day is, do both the spring and fall Feast Days begin on the required 15th day of the month, which is also a “Saturday” Sabbath?

Answer: No, the spring Feast Days do in 2008, but the fall Feast Days begin on Sunday, the 15th, and NOT Saturday, the 15th.

Question 2: As a result, is it possible to achieve a continuous weekly cycle beginning on the day after April 15 and terminating on October 15, yet still maintain the required dates for the Feast Days?

Answer: No, because even though April 15 is on Saturday, October 15^th is not. Therefore, the continuous weekly cycle does not fit equally into this time period from April 16 to October 15.

Question 3: By counting the days only, beginning on April 16 and ending on October 15, is there 177 days?

Answer: No. There are 183 days between these two dates using the Gregorian calendar because all of these months are either 30 or 31 days in length, while none are 29.

Question 4: Is there evidence within the time boundary of six months that our Creator’s authentic and original Scriptural calendar utilizes the continuous weekly cycle?

Answer: No, because just within this short framework of six months, the week cycles and month dates do not match the Scripture criteria as found in Leviticus 23.

Question 5: Based on this test generated from Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23, is it possible to prove empirically that continuous weekly cycles have remained unbroken since Creation, the time of Moses, or even since the time of the Messiah’s crucifixion?

Answer: No, because this example shows that continuous weekly cycles do not stay in harmony with Scripture for even six months.

Question 6: Based on this test, is it possible our Creator ordained another time model, the truth of which may have been obscured from our knowledge since the time of the Cross?

Answer: Yes, because it is evident that the modern Gregorian calendar, or any time-measuring system containing continuous weekly cycles, is not in harmony with the calendation system described in Scripture.

Note in the historical quote below that Rome is the source and creator of the modern continuous week cycle and is dated as such.  If Scripture contained this continuous weekly cycle, then Rome could not claim it as her own or give the date for which it was first recorded. 

“It should be noted that the oldest dated Christian [Roman Catholic] inscription to employ a planetary designation [Sunday through Saturday, in an unbroken cycle of weeks] belongs to the year 269 A.D.” Inscriptiones Christianae urbis Romae, ed. De Rossi, 1861, i, No. 1.  

Creator’s Calendar Challenge Questions

All days must be counted beginning on the 16th of the First Lunar Month and ending on the Sabbath on the 15th of the Seventh Lunar Month.  This day count should include New Moon Days and the 30th day when it occurs.

Question 1: According to the astro-luni-solar calendar above, do both the spring and fall Feast Days begin on the Sabbath, the 15th of the month?

Answer: Yes, they line up perfectly.

Question 2: Is it possible to achieve a continuous weekly cycle from April 15  through October 15 with this calendar model?

Answer: No, because the Creator’s calendar is not based on an unbroken chain of successive weeks as we have all previously believed, but rather it is based on what Scripture describes as Sabbaths complete. Also, each month is refreshed and begins anew, as the count of dates and weeks is restarted by the full New Moon Day, which is then followed by four sets of weeks complete.

So, from the Scriptural standpoint, it is this system of a full New Moon day followed by four Sabbaths complete each month that enables the eight criteria listed on page 2 to harmonize perfectly with the Creator’s calendar.

Question 3: By counting the days only, beginning on April 16 and ending on October 15, are there 177 days?

Answer: Yes. The six-month period from April 16 to October 15 contains 177 days. These six full months contain 177 days that are divided into three months of 29 days and three months of 30 days.

Question 4: What evidence can be found within the boundaries of these six months that provides the support that the Scriptural calendar is made up of weekly cycles that RESTART following each Full New Moon Day?

Answer: Each appointed Feast Day is simultaneously nailed down to the same two things: 1) The seventh-day Sabbath of the lunar week cycle, and 2) The 15^th date of the lunar month, as counted from the full New Moon day. Like a two-point GPS unit, this makes it impossible for a week to cycle continuously unfettered by New Moon boundaries.  It is the New Moon boundaries that act as bookends to ensure that each lunar monthly date will fall on the same days of the week in months that are located six months apart, six years apart, or 6,000 years apart. This bookend symbology is evidenced in the popular Scriptural promise to the elect:

“And it shall come to pass, that from one New Moon to another, and from one Sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says YAHUAH.”  YashaYahu/Isaiah 66:23

The only way both the Sabbath and the date of the month can occur consistently in each month is when each month has both the same count of dates and the exact same layout of weeks. Although we were never taught, astonishingly, only the moon provides demarcates each day with a unique lunar phase, placing them in their order from 1-29 or 30-day months.  These lunar months are broken down into four smaller divisions of time called lunar weeks. Each week is numbered from 1 to 7, and the seventh day, Sabbath, correlates in approximation to the four quarters.  This is only possible in the Scriptural astro-luni-solar calendar model, designed by the Creator Himself.

Question 5: Based on this calendar challenge generated from Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23, is there evidence revealed that the Creator’s astro-luni-solar calendar is the ordained calendar since Creation, the time of Moses, and even at the time of the crucifixion of the Messiah?

Answer: Yes, because it fits the detailed criteria model in every way necessary for the Messiah to fulfill prophecy precisely on time.  For Yahusha, the Messiah died on Pasch (Passover), the 14th of Aviv, the day of a solar eclipse.  Luke tells us that “the sun was darkened from the sixth to the ninth hour, the natural result of the dark conjunction lunar phase coming between the earth and the sun, by day.  In fact, for 4,000 years prior to that day, every time the sun was darkened, it was because of the very same phenomena, we call a solar eclipse today.  The next day, He remained in the tomb on the Seventh-day Sabbath and ultimately arose from the dead during the fourth watch of the night of the 16th.  For more on this subject refer to: The Sun was Darkened from the Sixth to the Ninth Hour, and also, Three Days and Three Nights.

Question 6: Looking at the Creator’s astro-luni-solar calendar and counting the lunar phases (individual days) from the full New Moon, would the 15^th of the first lunar month and the 15^th of the Seventh lunar month exhibit the same lunar phase?

Answer: Yes, this is in perfect harmony with the description given in Exodus 12 and Leviticus 23. This is because each time the word month is used in these texts, it specifically means a lunar month or a New Moon. All the lunar phases that follow are virtually the same for all 29-day months and likewise for all 30-day months. These two terms “lunar month” and “New Moon” are so intertwined that they cannot be separated from each other, no more than you can separate the sun from light.

“Commandingly spoke, Yahuah to Moses and to Aaron while in the land of Egypt, declaring: ‘This New Moon is for the purpose of commencing the lunar months.  It is first in time, place, and rank, as in old time past, the same accordingly the lunar months are the divisions or measure of time for a [astro-luni-solar] year. Declare and teach this to all the congregation of Yasharal (Israel) saying, on the tenth of this lunar month do as follows:  Reserve accordingly every man a lamb for each household of the father, a lamb for each house.'”  Exodus 12:1-3

In Conclusion

Evidence for the true calendar and true seventh-day Sabbath has been both preserved and perpetuated in the units of time designated by the Kadosh (set-apart) Feast Days. The overwhelming evidence points to each of the Kadosh sacred days falling on the same exact sequence in the days of the week and on the same date of each month, year after year, since the time of Moses and the Exodus. This can only occur when each month refreshes with the Full New Moon, which RESTARTS both the week count and the day count. In addition, evidence points to the seventh-day Sabbaths falling on the same exact dates of each lunar month every year since creation.  For more on this subject, refer to Three Months in a Row

This great loss of truth was cleverly masterminded by the ruler of darkness and worked out by the guilty and motivated Yahudim (Jewish) leaders together with the Roman powers over a period of 254 years. At the Council of Nicaea in A.D. 324, the continuous weekly cycle was permanently legislated upon all of the Roman Empire, including captive Yashar’al (Israel), and is a sign to this day of her continued internment along with ALL THE WORLD.

Calendar fraud on this level may be the grandest deception and conspiracy cover-up ever to occur on earth.  All the while the truth has been visible to every living soul if only they will look up and learn.  But the majority, as in the days of Noah, will remain blind by choice, mostly out of peer pressure to conform to the Churches or Synagogues and mankind’s rebellious institutions.  Time’s truth is revealed in the LIGHTS of the shamayim (heavens), whether one takes notice or not. 

But all things that are exposed are made manifest by the LIGHT, for whatever makes manifest is LIGHT.  Ephesians 5:13

 

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the FATHER OF LIGHTS, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning [fully visible sun, fully visible stars, and fully visible moon].  James 1:17

Did our Eternal Father rely on the Romans to make a solar calendar with a seven-day week cycle so He could have a seventh-day Sabbath? No! As the evidence declares it to be impossible. 

Or did He institute at Creation 6,000 years ago a perfect time-measuring model that incorporated the three-part harmony of the sun, moon, and stars, with the brilliant LIGHT of the full New Moon as His featured player?  The evidence suggests this is true, even though it is highly unpopular.

My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also will reject you from being Kohenim (Priests) for Me. Because you have forgotten the Torah of your Alahim (God), I also will forget your children.  HoshaYAH (Hosea) 4:6

 

For herein is the shalom (peace) of the zadik (righteous), here are they who keep the commandments of Yahuah and have the Testimony of Yahusha.  Hagilu Natonhim (Revelation) 14:12

Is it not evident that the Creator’s true calendar was never made up of continuous weekly cycles that are wholly disconnected from the sun, moon, and stars? If it had been, these simple questions would have made it clear that the continuous weekly cycle is still the same cycle today as it was at creation, but instead, the opposite has just been demonstrated.

The image above depicts the elliptical orbit of the Moon as it circles around the earth for each lunar month. The full New Moon is illustrated for the first and seventh months only. Also, notice the dark conjunction lunar phase is marked as the 15^th day of the lunar month. Both the earth’s orbit around the sun and the lunar orbit around the earth move in a counter-clockwise manner.

The qualifying test of the modern Roman Gregorian calendar as the divinely ordained calendar of Scripture completely missed the mark. It was NOT able to meet the two necessary criteria required to occur consistently on both a Saturday and the 15^th of the month.

Not until it is discerned that the entire Gregorian calendar is an impostor will it be possible to fully comprehend that all have been duped. We have all believed the lie, that by seeking to keep sacred either Friday, Saturday, or Sunday, we were keeping the Creators true and sacred Sabbath.  It is because each of these adheres to the same fraudulent weekly cycle that none of them can meet Scripture’s criteria.

The Gregorian calendar is not in sync on any level with the time designations as stipulated in Scripture, such as New Year’s Day, the full New Moon Day, the four cycling weeks, the four monthly Sabbaths, and all the yearly set-apart Feast Days. As demonstrated through the seven questions on page 5, this is solid evidence that the Gregorian calendar cannot maintain harmony with the Scriptural demands of the Hebrew calendar for even six months (177 days), and definitely not since the time of creation.

The main reason that the Gregorian calendar is not in sync with the Scriptural calendar is that its framers did away with the full New Moon Days as beacons, which had been placed conspicuously in the shamayim to declare that each new month was officially to begin. The secondary reason is they also willfully chose to ignore that the Creator’s weeks are reset as they follow the full New Moon Day template each lunar month.

Because this truth is now being brought to light, we can have confidence that our loving Father has had a purpose in all of this. He has allowed this truth to be hidden so that it would become the ultimate test of loyalty to Him in its restoration.

He is now calling all who will hear His voice, to come out of Babylon, come out of pagan false religion and counterfeit calendation (Revelation 18:1-4). As He awakens His Bride, He seeks to bring her closer to Him. To her alone, He is restoring His immutable Law and the knowledge of His age-old Temple truths with its sacred prophetic Feast Days that are founded on the time system proclaimed by the triple orchestration of the sun, moon, and stars. His obedient and set-apart ones will hear His voice and come forth out of the rubble of false religion and its artificially fabricated time system so that they may be restored to the sacred rhythms and its path into Eternity.

The blood atonement sacrifice was forever paid upon the cross by Yahusha, the long promised Messiah, and as a result, no more animals are ever to die for sin again. But we are to continue with each prophetic Feast Day rehearsal, bringing our sacrifice of praise, confession, and a broken and contrite heart before the Almighty in obedience. Here, Yahusha resides as our advocate and intercessor before His Father. It is only through repentance and confession to our Savior that we may receive a pardon from the Father and the free gift of eternal life.

Ultimately, this set-apart appointed Feast Days were designed to show the extent of the Father’s love toward His erring children, as well as test our allegiance and obedience to Him, our Creator, our Savior, and one day soon, our Melchizedek (Righteous King) Deliverer.

His obedient and set-apart feast keepers will be those who march to the beat of a different drum, which will be recognized and apparent in stark contrast to the calendation rhythm of the whole world.

If you intend to spend eternity with your Redeemer, why not begin by bringing your life and soul temple into harmony and synchronize it with His sacred Kadosh celestial time-piece, the one that coordinates all of the shamayim for sacred worship to honor the Eternal Father and His Son, alone.
