The One Unanswerable Objection
To A Saturday Sabbath
It was known among Sunday keepers in the 1800’s that there was “one unanswerable objection to a Saturday Sabbath.” However, this same evidence held against a Saturday Sabbath applied equally against a Gregorian calendar Sunday as it related to the Resurrection of Christ in A.D. 31. The evidence revealed by Sir Isaac Newton in the 16th Century had caused the Catholic Church along with other major Protestant denominations to choose a year other than A.D. 31 for their recorded year of the crucifixion. Why didn’t the Seventh-day Adventist Church respond as did the Catholic Church, as it is an impossibility to cling to Roman Gregorian calendation while at the same time upholding that the crucifixion of Christ Yahushua (Jesus) occurred in A.D. 31?
